OK, I watched the video of Laura Ingraham's speech
mrclose posted in the
Politics forum, 15+ minutes. I'm not exaggerating in saying that it's the first political speech to which I've listened and watch in years, probably more that 2 decades.
1.) When Laura Ingraham was on camera she almost never had just one arm and hand raised, and when she did she was waving her hand at either the audience or at the press gallery.
2.) When Laura Ingraham was on camera - when crowd reaction to her speech was shown, sometimes the video display of her was still on camera. When she was off camera, directly and indirectly, there was never a crowd reaction that would indicate she had made some significant or dramatic gesture, nor, when the video returned to her were her arms lowering from any kind of gesture.
3.) When she was on-camera indirectly there was but one moment when she has one arm raised - for a second or less - as she was walking off the stage. I could not see whether her hand was still or moving, but it was a second or less, and the obvious meaning was that she was waving goodbye to the crowd.
Like I suggested last night, either a photog had their camera taking a sequential burst of pictures and chose the one picture with her arm and hand at just the right angle, or the same selection of the "perfect" frame was done to a video. IOW, just the kind of dishonest stunt that a partisan blog, new media source, or MSM source would eagerly do.

And, of course, DU-folk and other Libs/Progs are unthinkingly lapping it up, having no inkling that the partisan media have lied to them.
ETA: It says something about their "intelligence" that an unremarkable person like me can figure out the media trick that DU-folk swallowed whole!
