I run the connectivity and infrastructure group for a company that connects 3 major hospital systems, all of their branches, providers, clinics, primary care offices, labs.. ALL of them. I've been doing this for 9 years, this spans 8 states and several hundred locations... and I also oversee the voice, paging and alert systems for said facilities. Not ONCE has anything like this ever happened. It's part of my job to see every emergency page or 911 call that is executed. There have been threats, fights and even a couple of knives... but not once have I heard of a gun being drawn, especially as described (which is defined as armed robbery).
Bull effin bunk.
