Several cars were destroyed after they burst into flames tonight in the Brussels business district of Saint Gilles amid fears of a possible terror attack.

Early reports suggest that there may have been up to three blasts, although there has been on official confirmation of a terrorist explosion.

Several cars have been destroyed been destroyed with video posted on social media showing pictures of a large fire.
