There's a better than even chance, IMO, that this will gain D pols' and operatives' sympathy much as BLM's tactics of blocking busy freeways and interrupting people's meals at restaurants have garnered sympathy for BLM. I will admit that D pols and operatives aren't as logical as ordinary people, so this may be a close call.
