Clinton Superdelegate Chaka Fattah (D-PA) Found Guilty on Corruption Charges

Rep. Chaka Fattah (D., Pa.), a Hillary Clinton superdelegate, was convicted on Tuesday on corruption charges stemming from a racketeering conspiracy in which the congressman and four associates misappropriated thousands of dollars from federal, campaign, and charitable sources.

Fattah and four associates were indicted in July 2015 on 29 corruption charges including racketeering, bribery, money laundering, mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, and falsification of records, among other charges.

At the end of the campaign, Fattah used a scheme to repay the loan through grants and charitable funds from his nonprofit, the Educational Advancement Alliance, and passed through two other companies. In order to pull off the scheme, sham contracts were created to conceal the contributions and repayment operation. False entries were made into accounting records, campaign finance disclosure statements, and tax returns.

  Renee Chenault-Fattah, the longtime NBC10 news anchor, has parted ways with the station, six months after she was placed on leave following the federal indictment of her husband, U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah.   

  In their 85-page federal indictment of the congressman, prosecutors referred to Chenault-Fattah as "Person E" and described her an "affiliate of the Fattah enterprise."

The indictment cast her as a participant in a scheme to falsely report the 2012 sale of her 1989 Porsche Carrera convertible to lobbyist Herbert Vederman for $18,000. Chenault-Fattah and her husband used the money to help purchase a vacation home in the Poconos but kept the car, according to the indictment.

We are in the age where liberal/Left 'reporters' can be properly described as 'propagandists.'

This schmuck was expelled from Congress. 

The dumbass actually had the temerity of stating that he would resign on the day before his sentencing. Paul Ryan, in a rare show of testicular fortitude said (paraphrased), "Not quite, chump."

Whereupon the dumbass said he'd "negotiate" a "compromise".

Ryan, once again in a rare show of balls, said that the matter would be brought up before the House for a vote on whether or not Fattah would be expelled.

And was.

The story I read was there have been only six members of Congress who were EVER expelled. The last one was James Traficant back around 1992, I think. ALL of them have been Democrats.
