They also tried to do this quietly, the way charity is supposed to be done.  Not like those bouncy threads on DU that pat themselves on the back for casting healing white light towards a homeless person.

Even if Chick-Fil-A managed to pull it off quietly, the DUmp would accuse them of false modesty,  or claim that it was under-reported so they didn't have to hand out so much "free" food.
