Look, as a gay man, I know the classic signs of a repressed closet case when I see them. The shooter's own father said his son had become angry a few weeks back after seeing two men kissing in public, the guy was apparently a regular at the club he shot up, and Gawker has reported he had a profile on a gay dating site. The whole ISIS bit was nothing than a covet for him. This was a disturbed individual who couldn't handle the feelings that were stirring inside himself, and acted out in a violent, murderous rage. It's a scenario all too familiar to those of us in the LGBT community. For ****'s sake already, to turn this into some grand example of 'Jihad' against the U.S. is to glorify it far beyond what it deserves!

You know, until this happened I had wondered a few times which side the left would take if a situation like the Orlando shooting arose. I guess we all know now. Muslim killers at all costs.

I scanned my Facebook feed this morning to see what reactions people had. There were a lot of differing views, but the derp was strong with one in particular. To paraphrase, she basically said the shooting did not happen because the shooter was Islamic; he was an American, as were the shooters in Aurora, the planned parenthood incident, etc. Therefore, this is an American problem.  :banghead:

There are reports coming out now that the islamic terrorist visited the pulse nightclub several times before the shooting and was on gay apps like grinder and adam 4 adam.

It's starting to look like he was gay, but the muslim in him was conflicted with his gayness and pushed him over the edge.

If this proves to be true, will the left be honest about that interesting twist?

Until DU-folk understand and acknowledge that Mateen was hated homosexuals because that is Muslim teaching, and may have been inflamed by the inner conflict engendered by his own homosexual desires, they aren't being honest.

His wife even visited the club with him, he claimed it was for reconnaissance.
