So, the deflective narrative is to blame homophobia and guns?

I could pile a hundred loaded long guns and hand guns in front of a gay bar, and as long as no one touched them, no one would be endangered.
Did Mateen hate gays? Obviously! But I guess it's Islamophobic of me to ask ...
WHY? Because the answer is equally obvious!!!
If you think about it, Mateen's action belies the homophobia-only
faexplanation. By way of a straight line, Mateen's home was about 80 miles from Orlando, and by highway, it's apparently more like 120 miles. The 1 1/2-2 hour drive time I guessed and posted yesterday were low. Including driving on streets his drive was 2 1/2 hours or a bit more. According to a site called
gaybarmaps (I will
not post a link, 'K) there is at least one significant gay bar in Port St. Lucie. If
simply killing gays was his object, he could have done it much more easily, and had a better chance of escaping (due to knowing the city). Gay-bashers - they do exist, obviously - do their thing and often are not caught. Driving 2 1/2 hours to Orlando points to a larger goal, to create terror, on a national scale. And that points to a larger motive, he had become "radicalized" (basically, a
more faithful Muslim!).
That's the dot-connecting Libs & Progs seem bent of avoiding. But I don't think many American people are going to buy it, other than doctrinaire Lib & Prog ideologues.
