Redistributing Wealth

Upwards, ever upward.

Redistributing Wealth

Upwards, ever upward.

These are the richest times in human history.

David Stockman says 7/8 of all wealth ever created has been created since 1981. Most all of it has fallen into the pockets of the rich.

So, what happened to the Middle Class? And the poor, where did they go?

Anyone care? They should.

1981. Reagan's fault!

Why are you asking this when you made it clear that YOU don't care? You're a liberal/progressive, right? Then you automatically just screamed to the world that you don't care about the poor or anyone else except yourself, for that matter. Otherwise, you'd be doing what you could to get individuals away from gov't oversight and restrictions, which is the same as institutionalized slavery. But you want a bigger gov't with more oversight and more power over people's everyday lives, including the poor; especially the poor.

So take your faux concerns about the poor and shove it, primitive.

What happened to the middle class? I'll tell you dummie. What happened is your precious federal government with all its many regulations and tax code ran the manufacturing base right out the country.   That is what happened.

Get government out of the way and watch the country thrive.  Reagan knew this... and the country thrived.  Government came roaring back in the 90's and 2000's culminating with the current idiot in the white house... and the middle class is in trouble.  And you idiots wonder why.

The unions played no small part in driving companies overseas.

I have never understood why any blue-collar working person would vote for any democrat at any time.  Sure democrats give lip-service to working people, but that is all they do.

All real democrat policies and ideas hurt working people when they are enacted.  Democrats have convinced a lot of LIVs that what hurts big business is good for the worker, while in reality, it couldn't be farther from the truth.

Yes, government and its tentacles is a large part.

But it infects businesses as well, for those of us who regularly look at P & L's, budgets, etc.  So much money is absolutely wasted in administrative & bureaucratic costs.  Look at colleges as well as private and public schools.

I agree. The dem party has gone so far left it is in right field.  At least the GOP policies do have some benefit to the middle class.

If a national party was to ever emerge in this country that catered to the middle class and small business owners they would have control of congress and the white house for generations.  The GOP could be it if they would drop the illegal immigrant amnesty.

I agree as well.   That is for large organizations. The larger an organization gets, the more ossified it becomes.  Small businesses are the driver of jobs in this country.  They have neither the resources or the time to run through the rat maze of government regulations.
