Crooked Hillary. Juvenile - Definitely, Effective - Probably
Anything that is repeated a zillion times sticks for some people.
Think Dems should come up with a catchy nickname for Trump.
Our candidates don't have to say it - but maybe all surrogates.
Something that reflects his greatest weaknesses - lack of knowledge, rashness, intellectual laziness. To go with Don, Donny, Trump, Donald ??
Posting "We should not play his juvenile games" IS A GIVEN AND PROBABLY NOT WORTH YOUR KEYSTROKES
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027850260Primitives, there's a good reason the Crooked Hillary name is sticking to Cankles. It's because she's so crooked and everybody knows it.
The primitives post 50some replies to the stupid OP, all of them trying to figure out some stupid name that they can hang on Trump. Go ahead and and look, but all of the names that they come up with are every bit as stupid as the Drumpf name that they all seem to think is so clever--curiously, it doesn't pop up here.

7. You vastly underestimate how powerful silly nicknames can be.
Voters have short memories, but an easily remembered nickname sticks with them if repeated often enough. Subconsciously it has an effect if there is even a grain of truth to it.
Since MOST voters already view Hillary as untrustworthy, this one will really reinforce that and prevent Hillary from changing their opinion.
We need a silly nickname for Trump that accomplishes a similar goal.
Silly or not, that's politics.
Crooked Hillary--there's more than a grain of truth to that.
But back to the desperate primitive brainstorm of finding a silly nickname for Trump that accomplishes a similar goal.

18. exactly...short and repeat a million times. make america great again..BOOM. Dems
have never been effective with big themes with short catchy slogans where every surrogate repeats over and over again.
think Hillary should get Obama's correspondent's dinner speech writers to come up with something funny
That's it, leave it to your betters, the elites of the democrat party. But remember that they're the ones who came up with Drumpf and that doesn't seem to be catching on.

6. Please do not us the RW nickname in the subject line for a Democratic candidate. thanks
It's too late now. You can't put the genie back in the bottle. It's out and spreading like wildfire. You're welcome.

8. He wouldn't keep doing it if it didn't work.
But it probably only works for him. It's like software that only runs on a very particular set of hardware.

15. That's an excellent point. He's pulling it off. Anyone else might
come off forced/phony. He lets it roll off his tongue naturally

10. it doesn't have that much cachet
there's no alliteration, no rhyming.
Shillary and Hitlery were better smears IMHO.
Tasteless Trump? Tacky Trump? probably wouldn't resonate among anyone but designers...
Does this dolt think that
cachet is French for catchy? Because while the Crooked Hillary nickname is distinctive, it is not in any way prestigious.
Now the Trump brand, on the other hand--there is a brand with cachet.
I prefer the name Cankles but Trump is pulling it off with Crooked Hillary.
About halfway down in the replies, some genius comes up with the name Erratic Donald and the rest of the half wits think it's a good idea to run with.

25. Erratic Donald, Erratic Donald, Erratic Donald, Erratic Donald, Erratic Donald, Erratic Donald
needs to be repeated again and again, by all Democratic pundits and office holders
I'm all for BRANDING Trump.
Erratic Donald! Let's make it stick!
