Bleach is the miracle chemical.

Scrubbed the tub insert and tub today and put up a new shower curtain- the latest project in my home improvement binge. I wish I would have known about bleach earlier. I thought it was for laundry type stuff, but it will take care of a multitude of cleaning projects. It took the mildew off of my vinyl siding and the mold off of my front door and tub insert. Our basement is wet at times and we had some mold there as well. Bleach, the miracle chemical, took care of it.

I'm thinking my next project is going to be the lawn mower. Last year we couldn't get it to start and determined that the carburetor was gummed up. Instead of fixing it (I didn't feel like mowing anyway), I hired a guy to mow the lawn for us. He's not expensive, $20 a mow, but if I invest a little money in my lawn mower I can keep that $20 in my pocket.

Then, a helpful primitive, doing the cave's work, offers a helpful suggestion to Tubby Tobin.  The post gets hidden, but we can gather from the context clues what was suggested:

mixing bleach and ammonia forms toxic fumes, very toxic fumes.

Don't do it.

I know this is a joke and you assume everyone understands that mixing ammonia with bleach creates a toxic gas, but not everybody does. It should be common knowledge, but sadly not everybody does. I actually know this is toxic but still tried to clean a litter box (sans litter) with a little bleach to get the debris out of the cat scratches on the bottom, and when the bleach hit the pan, I almost passed out. The fumes hit you like a brick. It was stupid, I should have remembered that cat urine is full of ammonia, but carelessly did it anyway. I thought since i had dumped the litter and rinsed the box with water is would be ok. Boy did I make a mistake. Luckily I was cleaning the box in the garage and had quick access outside, it's amazingly overpowering. Not trying to b a buzz-kill, just worried someone might try this.

So close!  Maybe we should put Tubby Tobin on a wildcard for the deadpool.

Wow!  Those are some pretty impressive home improvement projects.  Next thing you know he'll be tackling a major project like sweeping out the garage or doing the dishes.

A little help for the DUmmie. Regular Coke^TM does great at cleaning shower walls, sinks and toilets. Adding a little bleach when doing the toilet gets a much deeper clean.

Tobin, bleach is especially good at cleaning lawnmower carburetors and, if you treat it nicely with respect, you might convince a bottle of bleach to mow your lawn.

Tubbs, Tubbs, Tubbs.  SMH.  How freaking old are you?  You did not know that bleach has multiple uses?  Really?  And then you can't buy a replacement carb for your mower and put it on?  (never mind the fact it was probably the ethanol federal government mandates that ate your carb).

OK Tubbs... I kinda gave you a pass cause you do have a job and you tried to better yourself.  Unfortunately I now have proof positive that you are just too damned stupid to live.  I'm guessing the college you went to gave you a degree just to get you out of there.

How can someone who supposedly drives truck for a living not know how to get a lawnmower running?  I know a fair number of truck drivers and they tend to be very good mechanics because they need to know if their equipment is running properly and if not what's wrong. Maybe the reason he's doing loading and yard work is because he kept tearing up trucks and trailers.

When I have an upset stomach, my cure, better than alka-seltzer is half glass of water, several teaspoons of vinegar and baking soda (about 1/4 teaspoon). Mix in the baking soda, it fizzes up, drink it in one go, burp my guts out a few minutes later and voila, I feel better.
