MineralMan (84,031 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:31 PMI'm seriously thinking about taking a day off here on June 8. I haven't really decided yet, but I'm certainly thinking about it. That morning, the pledged delegate count is certain to show a majority of pledged delegates on Hillary Clinton's side. That will end the questioning altogether, but it may not end the anger and vituperation. Maybe I'll look in that morning, to see what happens. But, I may decide to simply navigate elsewhere until the uproar dies down a bit. I'm looking forward to a final answer to the question of who the nominee will be, but I'm not looking forward to the reaction. Not one bit. And not just on DU, but across the internet political venues. We'll see.
zappaman (19,948 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:34 PM1. Could you let us know what you're doing the rest of the week as well? How about the entire month of June?
MineralMan (84,031 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:39 PM2. I'd be glad to, but my plans aren't set that far ahead. There's a strong chance I'll be working on a promising new website content contract. That'll be great. Later in the month, my wife and I are flying out to California to spend a few days with my 9-year-old parents. I'm very much looking forward to that. They could use a visit right now. Thanks for asking. That's very kind of you. I'll update everyone with my schedule as soon as I have it set.
uppityperson (103,496 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:54 PM6. I recently watched Benjamin Button, sounds like your parents. Being 9 yrs old and all. I'm trying to be funny. Now, for real, have a good visit with them. I'm looking forward to the end of GDFightclub.
Arkansas Granny (18,024 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:40 PM3. That's a good suggestion. I can't believe what's being posted here, lately. I fear it will get worse.
cali (112,021 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:42 PM4. I am breathless with anticipation about your comings and goings.
MineralMan (84,031 posts) Sun May 22, 2016, 03:43 PM5. That's remarkably kind of you to say. I'll try to be more attentive to letting you know what I have planned, then. I had no idea you were following me so closely. I've been remiss in providing information, I guess. ETA: I do hope your breathlessness is merely due to anticipation, though, and that you haven't over-exerted yourself in some way.
