Overheard at lunch today...
An elderly man, looked to be in his 80s, was seated at the next table with an equally senior woman. Looking at him in his John Deere cap and plaid shirt you might have him pegged as Trump supporter. You would have been wrong.

I'm paraphrasing, but he basically said he's always voted R, but not in the upcoming Calif. primary. He's reregistered as "declines to state" so he can vote for Bernie. He doesn't like Hillary, and can't understand why anyone does. He's also no fan of Trump. He said he and his friends are all voting Bernie, because he's the one they trust and the only candidate who understands the concerns of the ordinary person. He also pointedly remarked that Hillary is in the pocket of corrupt bankers and would, as President, be working for them. He said the only way he'd consider voting for her is if she put Bernie or Elizabeth Warren on the ticket.

He's only one voter, to be sure, but he's not the only Republican I know who's a Bernie fan. My Republican sister-in-law has also come over from the dark side to support Bernie.
She won't, however, vote Clinton. If it's Hillary v. Trump, she'll sit this one out.

There is just no enthusiasm for Hillary. The establishment should look at Bernie's continuing success as evidence that the voters aren't impressed with their annointed one. Instead they're sticking their fingers in their ears and refusing to acknowledge the obvious. There's a great candidate whose appeal crosses party lines and who could whip Trump's sorry ass. His name is Bernie Sanders.

Listen DUmmie, there is no way on this earth, none, zero, zilch, nada, rumplehair gets the Dem nomination. Watching your head explode when he's finally gone is going to be heaven on earth.

1. My ultra-conservative Christian friend shared with me that he, his wife and his daughter

all voted for Bernie here in Indiana.

Did you ever stop to think they just don't want to argue with an idiot, so they agreed with you?

Here's my bouncy, bro.

At lunch today I heard 10's of thousands of West Virginia UNION coal miners say they're voting for Trump. They want someone that will look out after their interests instead of just paying them lip service when their vote is needed.

How's them apples?

Don't bust the dummies bubble yet, PGR.  It will be much, much more sweeter when the dummie watches it it on TV in July or whenever the dem convention is.  Wailing, rending of garments, gnashing of teeth, swearing they are going to move to <insert the country>, never voting for hillary, etc.  Especially when reality hits the bernie bots right upside the head.

It will be glorious!   :cheersmate:

At dinner time I dropped off five fresh pizzas for the striking Verizon workers now in the 30th day on the picket line. I was wearing a baseball cap that I had custom made that reads "Hillary:  Working For Us!"

The striking Verizon workers thanked me for the pizza and all were in agreement that the only path out of this mess we are in is less Hillary and more Trump.

Then a pitbull wearing a Sanders bumper sticker jumped out of the bushes and ate all of the pizza. True story.

I was over at the neighbors the other night.  Long story short, we're living in an inexpensive investment property in a low income neighborhood.  The neighbor is collecting disability. In an effort to curry some motivation for him, I told them that even a quadruple amputee in a wheelbarrow  out on a stage with sparklers in his teeth and singing show tunes could make money.  I don't think they like me anymore.

What Perky said.  The deeper they get invested in Bernie, the richer will be the harvest of shredded crania and sweet, delicious tears when the Hitlery machine eventually crushes him.

I am hoping they get so mad that in November they go vote for trump out of spite,  come back to DU and broadcast it to the entire Dump and the ban hammer falls.  That would be glorious.  Be even better if Trump wins!!  Now that would be an epic night at the dump!  Skins little money maker... not his wife, get your mind out of the gutter... would melt down.

Oh man that would be a perfect nite.  We would be talking about that for years to come.   :cheersmate:
