The only Bernie bully who seems to be missing is Judy grasswire.  I dunno why she's not hanging there, and suspect maybe she just doesn't like you.  But that's okay, because being disliked by Judy is much like being disliked by a cockroach.

And there's the idiot girl, who writes as if she's an airheaded twenty-something college girl, but who's actually an ancient equestrienne on some rather nice real-estate.  Maine isn't Connecticut, but it does evoke images of woody station wagons, jodhpurs, a master of hounds, chasing the fox, tweeds, bobby-soxes, and the like.

I think idiot girl needs to share some of her stuff with those who don't have as much.

Anyway, this is the live thread for the West Virginia primary, taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, May 10.  We have the Nebraska primary the same day--Nebraska and West Virginia have been having their primaries the exact same day every election since God was a boy--but the Nebraska Democrats some years ago did away with the democratic (small "d") primary, replacing it with an exclusionist caucus, and so our primary here's basically a Republican one, which wouldn't be of any interest to the provincial Bernie bullies who don't care about people and places outside of their own little worlds.

There's 37 Democrat delegates up for grabs in West Virginia, and amazing to tell, the old sourassed sourpuss is predicted to win most of them.  Messalina Agrippina, it seems, has a public relations problem in the Mountain State.

So Methuselah will probably carry West Virginia, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.

Remember, he's so far behind in delegates that over time the lady can cinch the nomination merely by standing there and breathing, no more than that.

I dunno what the exact delegate count is, as the august left-leaning New York Times neglected to update their web-site after the caucus in Guam this past Saturday.  At the time, Messalina Agrippina had 2,223 delegates, and Methuselah 1,450, with 2,383 needed to win.

But those totals don't include the 12 from Guam yet.

West Virginia, Nebraska presidential primaries: Polls, what to expect, can Trump clinch the nomination?

It's a smaller field of candidates going into Tuesday's presidential primaries in West Virginia and Nebraska.

There's only one Republican – businessman-turned-politician Donald Trump – still in the race. There are two Democrats – former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders – though Clinton has a seemingly insurmountable lead in delegates.

Nebraska's primary is only for Republicans; Democrats in the state held their caucus March 5 opting to give 15 pledged delegates to Sanders.

There are 36 Republican delegates in the state with the statewide winner receiving all of them.....

.....Both Republicans and Democrats in West Virginia will be going to the polls on May 10. Thirty-four Republican delegates and 37 Democratic ones are up for grabs. Among Democrats, 29 will be divided among the two candidates based on the percentage of votes they receive in the primary. Eight are so-called super delegates who are not bound to any candidate.

Republicans will award 22 at-large delegates, nine delegates based on the winner of the state's three Congressional districts and three Republican National Committee unpledged delegates.

Clinton enters Tuesday's contests with 2,228 delegates, 155 short of the number needed to secure the nomination. Sanders has 1,454 delegates.

Heard on the news today that Bernie got a slight lead in the latest local poll.  I'm sure hillary is going to lose big in the coal field counties. She will probably carry Kanawha, Putnam, Cabell and Wayne counties. Those are the biggies. Northern WV is a tossup.  Don't matter none though. WV is eat up with establishment dems. She will come out ahead here no matter what.  Something similar happened when she ran against obumbles. She carried the state massively and the establishment dems from the Gov (Manchin at the time) on down gave it all to obumbles.

Just another corrupt election in WV.  We vote early and often here.  The dead vote even more.

Superdelegates, who can support whomever they want (and who overwhelmingly back Clinton), would only be likely to switch their allegiance to Sanders if he came within striking distance of that magic number.

But do that, Sanders would need to win about 88% of the remaining pledged delegates - an impossible feat.....

Well, Manny, today's the day your guy chalks up one of the last "victories" he's going to have this season; I expect he'll run roughshod over the lady in West Virginia.

We have a primary here in Nebraska too, but some years ago the Nebraska Democrats took democracy out of their own primary, by replacing it with a caucus that discourages common ordinary people from participating.  That shouldn't have been allowed--it gives too much power to the wacko fringe elements--and I'm surprised we in fact let it happen.

But anyway, no matter how many more "victories" the old sourassed sourpuss racks up, including even mega-state California, if that were to happen (which it probably won't), it won't make any difference.  She's so far ahead in delegates he can't possibly catch up.

Which is good news for America, for Americans, for posterity. 

I consider Messalina Agrippina a greater threat to our rights and freedoms than Methuselah; the deal about the old coot is that if elected, nobody, but nobody, in Congress or elsewhere, would go along with him anyway, so he'd be dead in water.

However, the lady has connections, she has friends, she knows how to compromise, she's always willing, like Ronald Reagan had been, to wheel-and-deal to get something she wants.  She's a coldly rational person, something of which one can't accuse Methuselah.

But I'm temporarily picking on the Bernie bullies, leaving the supporters of the nominee presumptive in peace and quiet, because we're dealing with two sorts of cancers here.

The latter's a bigger cancer, but at the moment a benign one.  The Bernie bullies on the other hand, are a smaller but much more aggressive cancer, and need excised from the body politic as soon and as quickly as possible.

.....Clinton is just 155 delegates short of the 2,383 she needs to secure the nomination. To win them, she needs just 17 percent of the delegates at stake in the remaining contests.

That means she could lose all the states left to vote by a landslide and still emerge as the nominee.....

I really wanted to see Bernie win the primary.  Might as well see if the country is too far gone by electing that fool in November right now or if it can be salvaged.  At the very least I wanted Bernie to continue on to the convention. You know, Manny, this has been a pretty slow, lackluster day, given that tonight’s decisions are pretty much already known.  A couple months ago, I decided to make Tuesdays one of my days off from work, until such time that the Bernie bullies have been thoroughly thrashed, their ugly mugs ground into the dirt and sand.

In the 227-year history of the republic, never has there existed a more selfish, a more greedy, a more spoiled rotten, a more vain, a more close-minded, electorate than the supporters of Methuselah.

When it comes to sordidness, gangsters, white slavers, dope dealers, had nothing on them.

They make even juvenile delinquents look like nice kids.

And hence the reason they not only be beaten, but utterly humiliated.

One thing that’s always mystified me, Manny, is how a grumpy old white-haired guy who spitters and sputters as he talks managed to get “imaged” as the new face of Democrats, while a younger, vivacious, enthusiastic blonde woman is perceived as part of the old white male establishment.

Geezuz.

It’s sort of the same way Germans during the 1930s romanticized their man as the “ideal Nordic.”

It still blows my mind away, that eighty million people saw him that way, tall, blond, chisel-featured.

Anyway, Manny, like I said, it’s been an idle day, and so I daydreamed about campaign music for the various candidates, much like “Happy Days Are Here Again” had been for Franklin Roosevelt back in antediluvian times.

When I came to the old sourassed sourpuss, I hit a brick wall. 

When it comes to something light-hearted, merry, jolly, and gay, the guy’s no inspiration at all.

But at least the lady was.

It was no work at all, to imagine Messalina Agrippina as the aesthetic, youthful, lively-spirited can-can dancer, kicking, cartwheeling, and twirling around, her dress occasionally flouncing upward to show a little bit of what’s underneath.

I wish I had some talents at photoshopping, so I could've replaced the face.

My mom and dad are deceased but they've faithfully voted in every Ohio election since their passing. They were both Democrats, but to honest, they would NOT recognize the demoCRAP party of today. My parents, had they been alive today, would be Republicans.

Nope. That would be Logan and Mingo county in Southern WV.   

Charleston, the state capitol, was always going to go hillary.  How charleston goes, so goes kanawha and Putnam county.  Those are the biggies.  I would be surprised if anything changed that.   

However, metronews, local talk radio station in Charleston, has called it for bernie.  I think it is a little early.  Don't know their record.
