When Kenneth Schupe arrived on the scene in Asheville, he was dismayed to find a "bunch of Bernie Sanders stuff" on and inside the woman's vehicle.

He said he told the woman "very politely" that he couldn't tow her because she was "obviously a socialist." He advised her to "call the government" for a tow instead.

  • Not right, but not left, either.
I laughed.

I don't know if I'd do the same thing- but I'd certainly require payment up front.

It's a one-man boycott.

The other thing I'd consider is charging their "fair share", which would be double or triple my standard tow rate.

The new mayor showed up at a local event my brother was invited to.  She's just like the old one, in a dress.

He declined, but said if he had to serve her he was going to bill her for the cost of all the paperwork and time he wasted getting his business off the ground.  I swear he spent nearly three months chasing down paperwork and sitting in gummint offices just so he could work for a living.

It's insanity.  Until you actually go into business for yourself do you find out first-hand the nightmare it is.  It's almost like the government doesn't want you to go to work.

I have never done it myself, but I have relatives that are in business for themselves.

It's not worth it.  I'll work for someone else, and let them keep all their stress, honestly.
