I have a painful tooth that must come out (plea for help)

For several weeks now I've had a rotting tooth causing me a lot of pain, but I've been out of work since the beginning of March, and I've used up what little I've been able to save for all these months of temp work. I'm down to my last $20 and last roll of toilet paper. I haven't been able to pay my landlord for four weeks now. Worse, the one temp agency where I'd been getting jobs since November hasn't had a damn thing for me. Of the eight of them I'm signed on with, they're one of two that has even been trying. Last week they had a job for me (another low pay idiot job, but so what) but they wouldn't give it to me because of this tooth. They won't give me ANY work until it comes out and I can give them a doctor's note that all is well.

The first thing I did when I finally figured out this pain was a tooth (it had been root canaled many years ago, and until recently I've not had any pain in or around the tooth) was call on the dental school in the city. This tooth has been a mess for a long time, and with most of it broken off and rotting away below the gum line they won't have a student do it. They'll do the work, but a regular oral surgeon will do it, and they want a lot more money than the private oral surgeon near me who pulled the last of my teeth for my upper denture. Even finding this out took over two weeks.

This has been a problem tooth for a very long time, and I've known for a few years that it isn't likely to come out in one piece which makes me scared to death of getting a dry socket. I've had that twice before in the distant past and NEVER want to go through that agony again. It's a possibility though. The gum has receded so much around that tooth I don't even think they could put in a stitch. But if there's still infection they won't anyway.

I've been on antibiotics for almost two weeks now, but they don't seem to be doing much of anything, and now my cheek is a little swollen in the area of this tooth. The antibiotics are also making a mess of my whole digestive tract.

My regular oral surgeon will do it ASAP as an emergency visit, but I HAVE to pay him first, and there just isn't any way other than begging for help to scrape up the money. It will cost at least $400 or $450 to get it out, and I don't know what else they might charge like for x-rays or whatever.

I so desperately need work and had hoped that any day I'd get something from one of these agencies but there's been NOTHING. They've sent me on a few interviews, but nothing ever came of them (these days you have to compete with their other temp workers and interview for temp jobs).

Please, please, if anyone can donate for me to get this damn tooth out and a little something for more antibiotics (I have only two days left of them, but I can get a refill) and some toilet paper, more Advil, gas for the car or whatever until I get money coming in again I will be so grateful. I've put off asking for help hoping a job would materialize, but it hasn't, and now the pain is so bad I don't think I could even fake my way through one. And now the only agency I've been getting any work from at all for months won't even talk to me until this tooth comes out and I'm "fit to work" again. Yoshi also has food for about 2 or 3 weeks and I have a little food stamp money left though it never gets me through the whole month.

Well, it is true that an abscess can be life-threatening as well as painful. But given her history of scam and scum, the donation for the pulling would only be "safe" if: done on an in-kind basis rather than donating $$; with TTW sedated into unconsciousness; video "taped" from multiple angles so as to preclude claims of sexual or other physical abuse.

I doubt TTW would go with those conditions, but she is what she's made herself - a used up skank with a needle-free moral compass; unemployable; a scamster; irrational; potentially violent.

I've seen "homeless" people (or professional panhandlers) with dogs better behaved than TTW's apparently is.

i am not bullying. i would give to those in real need

we did just last month and i brought a specific need and a real problem to du and many people stepped up to the plate. one of my students killed himself and his family had no funds to bury him. a lot of us gave. it was a real need.

this ttw stuff comes up all the time taking away from those with serious real needs.

so when someone brags about wiping their bum with 10 bucks then regularly grifts for money with elaborate unbelievable stories i just try to point them out.

du has helped me when i started my blankets for ronnie project. that was legitimate. ttw-i don't feel is legitimate

I have three bills that I just can't get under control. One is trying to finish paying the co-pay to the hospital. One is financial aide for school and the other one is medical bills for labs since the "network hospital and doctor" sent labs out of network.

I was in the hospital several times last year and early this year. As a result, I have used up all of my sick days. I have an incurable disease and have to have chemo every 6 weeks. I have to take a day or a 1/2 day on chemo days which costs my check anywhere from 100 to 300 each time I have to take off. It seems that when I start to think that I will have an extra 100 or two to make payments, I get so sick I have to use a day and go further into deduct.

Additionally, I often have to go to work sick since if I call in it is an automatic deduct of 300 dollars each time.

I am trying to pay off 3 bills that would ease my finances AND my emotional stress which in turn will help my disease.

$ 288.90 is the last of the hospital co-pay it was 3,000.00
$ 1400.00 Financial aide (student loan that is way behind)
$ 460.00 Lab work bill for out of network labs of which I had no control


If a miracle happens and I can get help with these lingering bills, I will pay it forward as much as I can.

I have been really sick almost to the point of losing my colon. In trying to deal with that I have almost hit the wall on my health insurance.

This illness and subsequent treatments have done a number on my teeth. I have 9 upper teeth left and 4 of those nine have serious issues. The other ones are starting to crumble as well.

I need help to remove my remaining upper teeth and then to get an upper dental plate.

Since the illness is taking all our money and I am soon to hit "the wall" there is no money for my teeth.
