Call me a Revolutionary

For putting peace ahead of war.
For putting the American people ahead of corporate profits.
For opening up government to oversight.
For stopping secret government spying on its own people.
For making banksters who ripped off the nation pay it back.
For investing in public education.
For re-building and strengthening the nation's infrastructure.
For weaning the nation's energy system from fossil fuels.
For wanting healthcare as a basic right for all citizens.
For ending corporate welfare via fiscal and trade policies.
For dreaming of a better tomorrow for ALL Americans, not just the rich.

Call me a Revolutionary, then. Great!

What you should be asking yourself if you're not a Revolutionary too, why not?

I will call you a commie scum bag instead.

Your side has been in charge for 7 years you dork. You are not revolutionaries. You are the "man". The very thing dipshits like you claim to despise.

I noticed that missing from the list is For wearing a made in China Che Guevara T-shirt. I do think that Octafish can get some revolutionary points for being fat, dumb and ugly.

What makes me smile is the knowledge that when the actual revolution comes, the revolutionaries will be the tax payers not the DUmmy keyboard loudmouths.

I've never understood this. This requires forcing someone else to pay or forcing someone else to provide service. How is extortion or slavery a basic right?
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

What makes me smile is that after the kind of revolution Octafish and his/her ilk want to happen, they usually end up with a plastic bag over their heads or lined up against a wall. China, Russia, Cuba, Cambodia, etc...

The policies that are indorsed by this party, that they backer of which are much of the 1 percent, causes a social structure much like the one back before the Revolution.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

The only thing that primitive is really "For" is sitting around on his butt all day and having the gov't take care of his every need. Everything else on his list is just pretty words to make it look like he cares about others.

What you should be asking yourself if you're not a Revolutionary too, why not?

Except for the part in bold, its all standard Democrat party platform. Nothing revolutionary about it. but lets look at that bolded line again.

"For stopping secret government spying on its own people."
This is what liberals did with the war on terror...instead of watching muslims for terror acts, Obama turned DHS into a secret police force. Spying on Americans is a Liberal creation.
But then every tyranny needs a secret police force.
