90 percent of the problem is in red.  The other 10 percent of folks that have hit on hard times and end up homeless typically do not stay that way for very long.  Those are the people that I do not mind my tax dollars being used to help.  The rest?  They can ESAD.

I don't know the percentages, but throw in the mentally ill unable to function in a working environment and society or unwilling to take the meds, properly, that would enable to so function, and 90% is probably in the ballpark. IOW, down-on-their-luck people willing and able to work and otherwise function in society - the sort of people Lib/Prog activists and pols, and their MSM shills try to represent as The Homeless - are a small fraction of the people living in encampments, parks, under freeway overpasses, shelters, RVs, and cars. Then there's equine anuses like this character, the sort about whom this letter-to-the-editor wrote (for which he was given the Godwin's Law Treatment).
