Hey Skippy, this should be an exciting Tuesday for one candidate, not so much for the old sourassed sourpuss.  We got Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island and 462 delegates on tap.

About the only number known for sure is that it’ll take 2,383 delegates to nab the nomination.

But trying to find an accurate count of the delegates—as it stands right now—is proving a pesky little task, given that the mainstream news media, in its enthusiasm for Methuselah, plays with the numbers when citing them.

One can’t find out if the 1,446 delegates, for example, given to Messalina Agrippina also includes the 502 superdelegates pledged to her, grateful for all the free stuff she gave them during her husband’s presidential administration 1993-2001.

If they aren’t included, her total would be 1,948 of the 2,383 needed to win, while the old sourassed sourpuss has 1,240 (counting the 38 superdelegates pledged to him).

But the Bernie-favoring mainstream news media seems to be citing only the elected delegates, 1,446 for her and 1,202 for him…..because the narrower the margin, even though that margin is not really correct—the better their favorite looks.

It’s truly an Orwellian world the Bernie bullies have created for the civilized world, Skippy.

- - - - - - - - - -

The biggest difference between the supporters of the worthier candidate and the Bernie bullies is that the former takes all facts into consideration, while the Bernie bullies tend to cherry-pick among the facts, taking out only those favorable for a conclusion of theirs.

Because the superdelegates tend to go against great-great-grandpaw, the Bernie bullies dismiss their existence—but I assure you Skips, they really do exist, and they really will make a difference, so you and your acolytes should pay attention.

- - - - - - - - - -

I’m addressing this week’s letter to you, Skips, because it’s probably going to be the last week of the meaningful primaries.  It’s been obvious since early March that the old sourassed sourpuss stands no chance, but the old guy’s got an ego the size of the Hindenberg, and it needs catered to.

Your appointed leader of the Bernie bullies on Skins’s island, WillyT, after Skins canned your ass turned out a disappointment; he’s so not-bright that making any literary effort in his direction was a waste of time and trouble.  All WillyT’s interested in, really, is all the free stuff he thinks he’d get from Methuselah’s election.  The guy’s a dreamer.

And a greedy glutton to boot.

I thought perhaps that Peanuts Jr., the GeorgiaPeanuts primitive, was stepping up to bat after the child-minded WillyT got canned just like you did, but I was wrong, as I guessed too quickly.  And besides, given that horrid physical disfigurement he has, the guy’s got enough problems with people seeing him and laughing at him behind his back.

Believe me, franksolich knows exactly how Peanuts Jr. feels, although since little-ladhood, I’ve been perceptive enough to make so people look at my hair, instead of what’s underneath it.  Peanuts Jr. can do the same thing, if he thinks of it.  But God have mercy on his soul if he begins to balden.

Right now, it looks as if the rectal aperture the John Poet primitive is trying to seize leadership of the Bernie bullies on Skins’s island, but he’s way too late in getting underway, as after this coming week, it’s over.

And so we’ve come full circle; you’re “it,” Skips, the focus of attention for this live primary thread for this coming week.  Enjoy, and I kindly suggest you pay attention to what franksolich says.

Well, Skips, I can't believe your Bernie bullies still maintain that the mainstream news media is biased against Methuselah, when in quite stark fact, the opposite is true.

In one way, it's to be expected; the news media is driven by the new, the trendy, the cool, the hip, the with-it simply because it's novel and exciting, while the old, the proven, the true, are boring and dull.  Thus the rather odd situation of an old white-haired fart being "new," while a younger, vibrant, blonde woman is "stale."

One can excuse that tendency (to favor the "new" over the "old"), but what one can't excuse is the mainstream media fudging the numbers on the delegate count.  They've usually been quoting only the numbers of elected delegates, omitting altogether the numbers of superdelegates.

It's obvious why--by leaving out the superdelegates, the margin between Messalina Agrippina and Methuselah narrows, and it makes him look better......despite that counting the elected delegates alone doesn't mean shit on the outcome.

I had considerable problems finding a mainstream news media source that cited the true and accurate numbers, for both superdelegates and elected delegates.  It'll take 2,383 delegates--either elected or super, it makes no difference--to get the nomination.

As of today, the count is:

Messalina Agrippina 1,941 (1,428 elected, 513 super)
Methuselah 1,191 (1,153 elected, 38 super)

"1,428-1,153" looks closer than "1,941-1,191," makes it look more as if the old sourassed sourpuss stands a chance of catching up, and so that's why the Bernie-favoring mainstream news media cites the former figure, even though not strictly true, instead of the latter.

With the eleventh anniversary of the scam that rocked the internet coming up in a few days, April 30, and the tenth anniversary of the Bostonian Drunkard's Fitzmas twelve days later, I'm reminded, Skips, of the importance of keeping a true and accurate history of the most notable and remarkably stupid primitive antics.

And since the saga of the Bernie bullies on Skins's island is likely to whimper away this very week, I suppose all we're missing at the moment is the final chapter.

I dunno who created the Bernie bullies on Skins's island, but when it came to making the Bernie bullies the hip, the in, the with-it, the cool crowd, you yourself, Skips, were a genius of marketing.

You proclaimed that Methuselah was "more left" than Agrippina Messalina.

So many primitives rushed on board the bandwagon it nearly broke down.

But that of course was a lie, Skips, and you knew it; Messalina Agrippina has always been just as "left" as Methuselah, if not more so.

But you knew if you lied, the primitives'd fall for it.  The primitives don't know shit about ideology; it's just all mindless slogans and labels to them.

It's like when squalid lazy fatboy Odin2005, the professional aspie lad, jumps up-and-down, squealing, "I'm an anarcho-socialist!  I'm an anarcho-socialist!"

He has no idea what the words mean, but they sound cool to him, and so he's one.

If you were to tell the primitives Jerry Falwell's "more left" than Barbara Boxer, same thing; the primitives would develop a liking for Jerry and a loathing for Babs.

Because you, Skips, are who you are, you have credibility among the primitives, and they trust you--if Skippy says it's so, it's so.  And also because primitives have no idea what "left" is any more than they understand what "right" is.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/sanders-campaigns-new-strategy-on-superdelegates-leaves-some-unimpressed/ar-BBsbCne?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=iehp

Quote
Sanders campaign's new strategy on superdelegates leaves some unimpressed

Retired teachers Rosie Skomitz and Ron Stouffer, part of the raucous crowd that packed an old theater here last week to cheer on a Bernie Sanders revolution, have no love for Democratic superdelegates, the party insiders who have helped Hillary Clinton pad her lead in the race for the nomination for president.

"It takes votes away from people and gives them to the elite," Skomitz said, summing up the typical complaint from the Sanders faithful that the nomination process is undemocratic.

But as Sanders falls further behind Clinton in amassing delegates who will choose the nominee, some of his supporters have replaced their criticism and occasional outright virulence with appeals to those Democratic elites — some of whom have long memories......

The Bernie bullies forgot to remember; words have consequences:

Quote
"You're trying to woo us now, but we remember when you were trashing us," said former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, one of 21 superdelegates from the state, the largest of five that hold primaries Tuesday.

Quote
Superdelegates have been catching a lot of vituperation, says Rendell, a longtime supporter of both Bill and Hillary Clinton and former Democratic national chairman.

"'You're a scumbag, you're a tool of the capitalist system, a fascist,'" he said, citing insults lobbed by Sanders backers. " ... It's not the campaign — it's some of his crazy supporters."

One Sanders follower sent an email saying "I know who you are" to Rick Bloomingdale, president of the state AFL-CIO and a Clinton supporter.

"I asked the guy, 'Is that a threat, or what are you saying to me?'" said Bloomingdale.....

Quote
They should save their breath, says Pennsylvania superdelegate Tony Coelho, who backs Clinton "about 100 times over."

Good for Tony.  Obviously a man of character and integrity, sticking with the lady.

Well, well, Skippy.

http://www.npr.org/2016/04/23/475284862/why-tuesday-could-determine-the-nominees-in-both-presidential-primaries

Quote
Why Tuesday Could Determine The Nominees In Both Presidential Primaries

The primary elections across five states Tuesday could decide the nominations of both parties.

That's especially true on the Democratic side..... Bernie Sanders has come a long way, but the Vermont independent is running out of friendly states. Tuesday is no different, as all but one of the contests (Rhode Island) in these Northeast states are closed primaries.

Quote
In other words, independents can't vote. And that's a big problem for Sanders. One analysis found that as much as 40 percent of Sanders' vote total was coming from independents, as of a month ago. Three of Tuesday's states — Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania — also have significant non-white populations in Democratic primaries. That plays to Hillary Clinton's strength.

Clinton now has a bigger lead over Sanders than Barack Obama ever had over Clinton at any time in 2008 — more than twice as big, in fact. When all was said and done in the 2008 primary, Obama finished just 69 pledged delegates ahead of Clinton.

Quote
Clinton is now 80 percent of the way to the 2,383 needed for the nomination. Yes, that includes superdelegates, but they cannot be dismissed. Their votes count, and there's little reason for them to switch allegiances if Sanders does not win a majority of pledged delegates. (She's also ahead of Sanders by 2.7 million popular votes.)

Quote
Sanders and his team seem to now be getting that reality.

Yeah, Skippy, it's about ****ing time you and the rest of the Bernie bullies finally "got that."

My, my.  Now Methuselah's slamming his own political party.

I'm sure Skippy's proud of him.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/bernie-sanders-democratic-party-fairness-222355

Quote
Sanders: Democratic Party hasn't been fair to me

...."But you know, that's the way it is. We knew we were taking on the establishment," he said. "And here we are. So [I'm] not complaining."

Todd then asked Sanders if he felt he was "given a fair shot" at the Democratic nomination.

"Yeah, we took advantage of the opportunities in front of us. We are in this race. We are not writing our obituary," Sanders said. "We're in this race to California, and we're proud of the campaign we ran."

Clinton is ahead of Sanders by 750 in POLITICO's delegate count, with superdelegates included -- and could wrap up the nomination even if she loses every remaining state. The Sanders campaign has said it plans to persuade superdelegates to switch sides, but has shown little ability to do so thus far.....

Oh my.

Like some of us didn't see this coming.....

Quote
Sanders caught in political trap
The Vermont senator is too strong to concede the Democratic race, but too weak to actually win.

Looking at the tough political layout of the five states voting Tuesday, Bernie Sanders’ advisers are expecting him to win the smallest of them (Rhode Island) and hope he can surprise Hillary Clinton in the biggest (Pennsylvania).

But even under that best-case scenario, Sanders will face a familiar problem. His delegate deficit is likely to grow.....

Quote
.....Choosing to back off too soon would anger or disappoint Sanders' millions of loyal supporters, his team worries. But deciding to continue fighting could risk damaging the likely Democratic nominee ahead of the general election, though that’s not a concern that weighs heavily on their thinking.

No, it's nothing that concerns the Bernie bullies, who don't give a **** about the Democrat party.

That's why there's superdelegates; to ensure that there's at least some delegates who do.

Man, Skips, dude, I'm gonna be so happy when you and the rest of the Bernie bullies have to finally close up shop, probably after tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.

Having been properly chastised, humiliated, shorn of all human dignity, the Bernie bullies will no longer be a threat to a decent and civilized society, and franksolich can finally join the other members of conservativecave in their pursuit of the big game, the game that matters, the supporters of Messalina Agrippina.

<<<had to stay away from that because was assigned to beat down the Bernie bullies first.

Well, Skips, being in the engineering and architectural professions--although no professions or training or education having to do with politics--surely you're adept with mathematics, and already have it figured out.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/delegate-math-how-tuesday-could-close-door-on-sanders-bid/ar-BBsdnvL?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=iehp

Quote
Delegate math: How Tuesday could close door on Sanders bid

Hillary Clinton can't win enough delegates on Tuesday to officially knock Bernie Sanders out of the presidential race, but she can erase any lingering honest doubts about whether she'll soon be the Democratic nominee.

After her victory in New York this past week, Clinton has a lead over Sanders of more than 200 pledged delegates won in primaries and caucuses. As she narrowed Sanders' dwindling opportunities to catch up, Clinton continued to build on her overwhelming support among superdelegates — the party officials who are free to back any candidate they choose.

In the past two days, Clinton picked up 11 more endorsements from superdelegates, according to an Associated Press survey.....

Please notice, once again, the media bias favoring Methuselah; the difference between pledged delegates is cited, and not the difference between all delegates, period--the margin that counts.

It makes the gap between Methuselah and the lady look narrower.

Anything to make the crusty old sourassed sourpuss look better, I suppose.....even though in the end, it doesn't matter.

Well Skips, in about twenty-four hours from right now, your Bernie pals should begin their descent into despondency; I imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth will be deafeningly loud.

But I honestly wish they'd take this even more seriously; seriously enough that they decide seppuku's the only way out.

Never in my life, Skips, have I known a group so concentrated with utter selfishness; these people truly are gluttonous monsters whose suicides would be a public service for the good of humanity.

You and I, Skips, are a little too young to have been influenced by the oratory of John F. Kennedy when he actually orated them, but we're both old enough to have been affected by hearing other people speak of them and reading the words ourselves, later.

Among other things, "ask not what your country can do for you, but rather, what you can do for your country," words that inspired many of the generation just before us to go out into the world and try to make it a better place.

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but rather, what you can do for your country."

Noble words that inspired noble deeds.

But alas a very long time ago now; the gimme crowd probably has no idea what the words mean, because to them, it's all "gimme, gimme, gimme."

I don't recall reading, a single time during the Messalina Agrippina-Methuselah civil war, a Bernie bully quoting sentiments anywhere near what John Kennedy had suggested; it was all "gimme, gimme, gimme."

It's going to be a joy and a pleasure to watch as these rectal apertures get their faces ground into the dirt.

Well, Skips, I gotta go for a bit, but before then--

You know, there's an ancient saying, "cobbler, stick to your last," the "last" being an implement used by shoemakers to make their wares.

On the whole, the adage means, "stick with those things you know."

It's too bad, Skips, you weren't thinking of this during spring of last year, when you were boosting Methuselah as "further left" than Messalina Agrippina.

Your education and training's in architecture and engineering, Skips, not politics.

Best to leave politics to the professionals in that profession, and to trust them.

I'm sure that professional Democrats would defer to your judgement on things architectural and engineering, and so you need to defer to their judgement on things political.

I sure hope not

I'm not expecting it.

"Statesmanship" is rather too much to hope of the gimme crowd.

Well Skips, I know you're not reading this, because like all other ignoramuses, you don't think there's anything one can learn from us.

Which is the height of absurdity.

Strap on your suicide belts.....

That's a little disturbing, Rhode Island.

Lol, that's really turned things around. They need just a little hope to keep going, can't let it fizzle out too soon before the coronation

You know, if I had my druthers, the primaries would be run the way the Republicans run them--winner takes all the delegates.

It seems to me that if delegates are apportioned, that'd be a disincentive for candidates to do their best, to put out their best, because they figure, "oh well, even if I don't win, I get at least some delegates."

Well, it looks as if the Democrat counts in Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania are honest.
