Shooting reportedly kills 7 at Ohio home

DEVELOPING: A shooting at a home in southern Ohio killed at least seven family members Friday as part of a crime spree, multiple news agencies report.

It's unclear whether a shooter is on the run. Ohio's Bureau of Investigation sent several agents to the home near Peebles in Pike County, Fox 19 reports.

There were "multiple" crime scenes, sources told the Chillicothe Gazette without elaborating. A spokeswoman for Ohio's attorney general Mike DeWine told the Cincinnati Enquirer nobody had been arrested as of Friday morning.

Investigators told WLWT their large response is due to the fact that they're not sure exactly what unfolded at the home.

Pike County is roughly 80 miles east of Cincinnati and 70 miles south of Columbus.

Have you heard the latest? Apparently there were pot plots found around the houses involved. They are saying it was a planned execution.

I heard, either late last night or early this morning, that there was evidence of cockfighting at two of the scenes.
