Found a Grasswipe Judy gem buried in this C&B thread:

What's for Dinner, Mon., April 18, 2016

I'm going to take a pie out of the freezer. I don't know what kind it is--the RG made it. And I'll put together a salad to go with it, as tonight is a night I work late.

p.s. It was a chicken pot pie and it was absolutely de-lish.

A pot pie!  How gauche of you!

5. I took leftover chicken breast and leftover steamed broccoli

and made an alfredo sauce casserole with gemelli pasta.

And it was good.

Sounds like you dug in a dumpster and threw some things together.

Finally, grasswipe Judy chimes in:

9. in the mid '80s here -- very unseasonable weather!

So tonight we had chicken caesar salads. So easy. Chop the romaine and a couple of tomatoes. Slice some avocado. Open a can of olives. Boil one egg per person. Make some croutons out of sourdough bread with fresh rosemary and olive oil. Cube some white cheese and some deli chicken.

Plate. Dress with caesar dressing -- or bleu, or whatever.

Tonight I am baking stuff to take to the Bernie campaign office tomorrow to feed the staffers there. Big ginger cookies, Key lime cupcakes with orange zest frosting, and blueberry cornmeal muffins. I love to find an outlet for my yearning to bake.

When grasswipe Judy isn't standing around in the nearest supermarket that has an "International Foods" section admiring canned glop from parts of the world less fortunate, she's busy trying to satisfy a yearning.  Judging from the number of generations in her family tree up to this point, I think its safe to say baking is just a substitute for multiplying like rabbits.

I'm going to go take a shower now.

What she's describing isn't really Caesar Salad, is it?   Her baked goods sound revolting.  I can't believe she sails into Moonbat HQ like Aunt Bea with a basket of that junk.

Her baked good sounds like something you'd toss together from things you found in a dumpster.

For some reason, the title of this thread made me think of this old joke.

A guy is doing a show in the Australian Outback. He has a crocodile on the bar and he hits it once on the head. The croc opens its jaws. The guy places his pecker in the teeth of the croc. Then he hits the head of the croc again. The croc closes its jaws within a few 1/16s of an inch of said pecker and stops. Then he hits the croc on the  head again and the croc opens it jaws and he pulls his pecker out.  Then he asks if anyone else wants to try this. A wimpy guy in the back says "I will if you don't hit my head so hard."

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Of course you remember grasswipe's imaginary pie shop.

It was going to be in a ratty abandoned bodega where she was squatting during one of her homeless stints.

I'm glad somebody saved that link; this was a classic, in which as usual a primitive bragged something was already a "done deal" when "discussions" and "negotiations" had just gotten underway.

She for example had "cinched" no deal at all; she had merely inquired of the owner about the possibility of renting the place.  And probably needless to say, the deal, or any deal, was never concluded.

Primitives do shit like this all the time; e.g., the big guy in Bellevue, Omaha Steve, announcing something's all done, completed, when in fact he's just barely gotten underway.

I'm opening a pie shop.

Just clinched the deal with the property owner today.

It will be structured as a "social enterprise" with all profits donated to music programs in the local schools.

It will not be just a pie shop, but a music venue where local students and local acoustic musicians may play together and play for each other and play for others to hear.

The location is so perfect. It is a very small historic community intersection blocks from where I currently live, and it sits on the old trolley trail that is currently being restored as a hiking/biking trail that connects to other trails that ring the city. At this intersection was the trolley stop and the ticket office throughout the first half of the last century.

Oh god the space is so perfect! It once was an old grocery. The bones are excellent. They even have a very old cooler cabinet with glass doors that will be perfect to display pies. The original plate glass windows are still there, and original corner door. Renovation is already underway.

The business model will allow me to solicit startup funding and corporate sponsorships -- as I am totally on a shoestring.

(I'm writing all this because I know that there are others who would like to start up a business but have no capital. Social entrepreneurship is a global trend. Check it out. It can be a way to start up.)

Many of you know my commitment to pie. I'm doing test kitchen this month on a lot of recipes for the perfect product. King Arthur's lemon meringue was a fail last night. Unfortunately.

When you read about all of these special recipes that the primitives claim to be cooking and add in their proclivity to lie, you will come to the conclusion that most of them are just eating bologna sandwiches.

:lmao:  The pie shop saga is one of my most favorite DUmp episodes!  It's classic.  Full of pure moonbatttery, it's better than any pie.  Musicans playing for each other.  Gov't employees getting extorted and bribed with free pie.    Zero profit motive or any concern about how to pay the rent. :lmao:  Good times, good times.

It's the perfect collision of moonbat desires and real-world expectations.

I would love to see Judy's paperwork.  I have no idea how you'd make such a charitable organization work in the real world and remain in business without a constant stream of outside funding to keep the walls from falling in.

The last I checked, any kind of commercial property around here leased for a minimum of $5,000 a month.

Oh but renovations were already underway!  Wonder if the Health Department was consulted in any way?  And I know for a fact you have to have insurance 100 ways to Sunday, which also costs a fortune.

Kinda makes you wonder how she's gonna stay in business since "all profits go to charity".

I'm guessing that means she's gonna rely on donations to pay rent, insurance, upkeep, new equipment and so on.

GoFundMe in the works?
Liberals disgust me. (Now I don't have to remember to put it on each post).

The whole fantasy was in a couple of her posts five years ago, in 2011.

At the time, she was a derelict wandering a Portland suburb, pulling a little red wagon heaped with junk she picked up along the street.

She was never in business for a single day, and no one but us and the 2011 class of DUmpmonkeys ever heard of her goofy plan.

It wouldn't have been so humiliating for Judy--if humiliating at all--if she'd waited until something was in actual fact a done deal.....and then announced it.

But no; she had to start blabbing about it as a done deal when it'd barely gotten underway and was far from finished.....and of course it never got finished.
