A pro-Hillary Clinton posts this. Joe Biden is not very popular at DU. If a brokered Democrat convention and Biden somehow got the nomination, all Hell will break lose at DU.  :lmao:

Reaction from Bernie Sanders supporters. The usual.

Biden: Pope Francis wouldn't endorse Sanders' policies

Source: Politico

Vice President Joe Biden said Friday that while he approves of Bernie Sanders' quick trip to Rome, he doubts Pope Francis endorses the Vermont senator's policies.
“I just think that Bernie making the trip is a good thing, but to suggest that the pope embraces Bernie’s policies, I don’t think that’s the case, I doubt that very much,” Biden said in a CNBC interview.

The vice president claimed to know Pope Francis “as well as anybody,” with the two having spent time together after the death of Biden's son Beau last year.
Sanders temporarily stopped campaigning ahead of Tuesday's New York primary to speak at a Vatican conference about income inequality.

12. Biden has lost his ****ing mind. Bernie is the empitome of Matt. 25:31-44.

Biden should shut his mouth. He has Bill Clinton disease. What an unbelievably asinine remark. I have struggled to care about him and his opinions since he sold us out to the credit card companies. He is what he is.

7. Having read and heard both Bernie and the Pope, I say Biden is full of shit.

From your link Biden speaks:
“I was raised in a tradition called Catholic social doctrine,” Biden said. "It is that is legitimate to look out for yourself, but never at the expense of someone else. It is legitimate to do well, but never at the expense of not looking at what’s behind you.

“We need to create a culture which, as Pope Francis reminds us, cannot just be based on the worship of money. We cannot accept a nation in which billionaires compete as to the size of their super-yachts, while children in America go hungry and veterans sleep out in the streets,” he said. "

That is no different than what Bernie says, except Bernie isn't Catholic. Is that what Biden means?
Joe Biden is viewed by the pro-Bernie people as another Hillary Clinton.

13. As Joe Biden knows very well, Pope Francis is very much a social democrat like Bernie.

Francis probably won't issue an explicit endorsement because it's his policy -and the Vatican's - not to do so.

Such is his self-control on endorsements that when his native country, Argentina, had an election last November, Francis refused to endorse either candidate - and that was despite the fact that one was a social democrat and the other, a corporatist GOP clone and dog-whistle racist.

That said, a hint endorsement may indeed take place. When asked for his thought on that Argentine election, Francis said: "Vote your conscience; you already know what I think."

His preferred candidate, by the way, lost very narrowly. But we in the U.S. would do well to at least consider Francis' sage advice.

You do realize that Pope Francis is hard line on some Catholic doctrines that you would not like.

26. JB and Pope Francis are friends.

God don't like ugly. The Vatican, i.e. Pope is not a happy camper. Using the Vatican as a political tool to advance BS' agenda ain't cool at all.

The pope is a socialist. He is secular and never talks about Jesus.
The pope has a Gaia worshiping Global Warming advisor.

I disagree with Bubblehead Biden, the pope is very likely to endorse socialism.

The Vatican went red back in the 60s,they no more speak the Word of God then atheists do.

Edited to add that most elements of protestant denominations did as well and the same result applies.

So true. No wonder they are in decline.
