7. The issue is men across the board.
It's men who are killing these women. Western society has similar problems, but it doesn't get reported the same way as the killings islamic countries. If anything, it's probably easier to be a woman in those countries, because they don't have to deal with the constant bombardment of eye rape, ego rape, and other violent acts of rape.

For you white people who deny that racism exists in everyday life
Here's just a tiny example of what PoC have to deal with constantly.
Here's a very subtle racist ad on a story about a black boy who is having his name dragged through the mud before they have enough evidence to convict. Notice the ad has a large dark figure the back, and then how it says APE? Really? Ape? It's obvious they want people to see that and think RAPE, black males = apes, and then tie that all in to help justify the witch hunt against some homeless African American male kid who was likely in the wrong place at the wrong time.
(now understand, this is an online venues, so the add can be different for every viewer)

Second: Citing this as an example of racism is an insult to those who have actually faced real discrimination.
