Tubby Tobin's work saga continues

Condolences to the families of any of those that passed.  Work is the last place I'd want to be right before I meet my maker.

Another man was killed where I work today.

I work at a scrap yard. I drive a truck for them. Two weeks ago a man running a baler in the yard was crushed to death by the machine. This morning, a fellow driver was killed in a traffic accident.

I had been running a dedicated route (meaning I did the same thing every day) for 4.5 years for this company. They took me off of it a few weeks ago and put a senior driver on it. I wasn't doing a bad job. They just wanted to shake things up for some reason. That driver had been there for 30 years and had wanted that route for a long time. He actually trained me on it, but they wouldn't let him do more than fill in on it when the regular driver was off. That's the man that was killed this morning...doing my route.

It had snowed a little here. The driver took off from the yard at 6:00AM. The roads didn't appear to be slick. This route is all rural roads- two lane highway through farmland. There are very few bridges or overpasses. One of the exceptions is a bridge that goes over a another highway up in a small town. Our driver was going across it the same time as an oncoming semi. The semi hit a frozen patch and jack-knifed hitting our driver head on.

I feel kind of sick right now.

2. Oh, Tobin!

How awful. Just awful.

Have you heard anything from the place where you interviewed Friday?

Nope.  They must have had their DUmmie Detector on that day, and it buzzed a warning.

Personally, I hate to see someone go before their time regardless of their political ideology (I have no idea what the deceased driver believed).

My condolences to the deceased and his family/friends.
Liberals disgust me. (Now I don't have to remember to put it on each post).

Because only the left goes searching for that which is not there in a desperate attempt to be offended about something.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Tubbs better watch out.  Life in the junk yard is tough.  His employer might just decide that it is cheaper if he has an accident like they did the senior guy.

Alternative theory:
Tubbs had the senior guy offed so he would continue to have a job.

What I find funny is that Tubbs thinks his BA in business is gonna land him a high position... in the junk yard!!!   :lmao:

You just cannot make this shit up.

Right.

Remember that for years DUmmy Tobin S. was a mainstay of the DUmp loony bin.

He's a very sick DUmpmonkey.

That works in a junk yard.  For 4.5 years.   :whistling:

I suppose I should not make fun... he has a job.  That at least puts him head and shoulders above 99 percent of the dummies.

Exactly. He's apparently held a regular job.  I detest any DUmpmonkey, including Tobin S., but if you've ever known anyone afflicted with the hell of mental illness, you have to feel at least a glimmer of respect for Tubby Tobin, and even the pothead DUmmy Thunder Thighs.

My God, was that empathy? Wait, it'll pass.

Who replaced GOBUCKS with a sick and demented empathy robot?

I apologize. It's been a 3 martini evening.
