A massive leak of documents exposes the offshore holdings of 12 current and former world leaders and reveals how associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin secretly shuffled as much as $2 billion through banks and shadow companies.

The leak also provides details of the hidden financial dealings of 128 more politicians and public officials around the world.

They also include at least 33 people and companies blacklisted by the U.S. government because of evidence that they’d been involved in wrongdoing, such as doing business with Mexican drug lords, terrorist organizations like Hezbollah or rogue nations like North Korea and Iran.

I got bored and started skimming it, but they really didn't name names that mean much here, that I saw.  Trump and Hillary on the list would be nice.

Given the rest of the released list, I would think it's almost a certainty that at least one Clinton is on that list. Trump being there would just be a bonus.

Other than an ambassador from Zambia, its the only time United States appears on the list.  At least on the wiki page.

Yeah, I got hoaxed by the wiki page. When I went back and looked at the Panama Papers page the United States doesn't even appear on their list.  Unless they had it up there and then took it down.  At least with Wiki you can still see it in the history.

Kind of odd that Blumenthal and Podesta are the only two Americans listed that haven't already been convicted of crimes.

The so-called Panama Papers, a trove of 11.5 million financial documents tracing the Mossack Fonseca law firm’s efforts to help politicians, celebrities and criminals shield their money from taxes, contain links to Soros, who funds the journalism group that is disseminating the information. So far, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has been silent on its benefactor’s ties to the law firm.

Three offshore investment vehicles controlled by Soros are catalogued in the Panama Papers. Soros Finance, Inc. was incorporated in Panama; Soros Holdings Limited was set up in the British Virgin Islands and a limited partnership called Soros Capital was created in Bermuda.

George Soros has some explaining to do.
