She chipped in to get my blanket project started when I first came to you guys with an idea


Last week when I told you all about my student committing suicide and the family not being able to afford a funeral she did just what she always does. She chipped in.


The grandmother told me today it was her jump start that allowed the funeral home to agree to help.


the grandmother called me one of God's angels but no it is California Peggy who is the angel


I just want to recognize a lady that quietly espouses the very principles we strive to be.

Maybe some thing like this on a much, much, much smaller scale?

I hadn't heard much of the AIDS quilt since 1990ish. Maybe it got driven from the MSM's agenda by the Gulf War, Clinton being President, 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Obama Presidency. The MSM were certainly not going to make a big deal of it during the Clinton and Obama years, just like "the homeless" disappeared during the Clinton years and have never made a MSM comeback.

I'm pretty sure store-bought blankets and quilts are much less expensive than hand-made - unless you shop at a higher-end store. Mrs. SVPete makes baby quilts for friends, but the gift, really, is her time and love; she picks the fabrics and designs the quilt for the one receiving it.
