live primary thread for the lurking primitives
« on: March 22, 2016, 07:01:12 PM »
Well, since WillyT's been kicked off of Skins's island for having been such an ungrateful rectal aperture, and there appears no new leader of the decimated Bernie bullies on Skins's island, no "open letter" this evening; only a thread.

Is this the night Methuselah will finally see sense, and toss in the towel?

Arizona, Republican, 58 delegates
Arizona, Democrat, 85 delegates
***Messalina Agrippina's already gotten 5 of those, and the old man, 1.
Idaho, Democrat, 27 delegates
***Messalina Agrippina's already gotten 1 of them.
Utah, Republican, 40 delegates
Utah, Democrat, 37 delegates
***Messalina Agrippina's already gotten 2 of them.

Arizona's a primary; the other two states hold those stupid caucuses.

One sees no chance for any good news for the sourassed sourpuss tonight.

By the way, I watched His Senescence on youtube re: Skippy's pals bombing Brussels.  He kept insisting the United States has got to share intelligence about Skippy's pals with other countries.

He didn't say a damned thing however about how American agencies need to share intelligence with other American agencies too.

What a crazed buffoon, Bernie.

The current delegate count:

Messalina Agrippina 1,630 with 2,383 needed to win, and 2,265 still to be selected
Methuselah, 870 with 2,383 needed to win, and 2,265 still to be selected

In other words, since the Bernie bullies probably can't count:

The worthier candidate needs only 753 more to win, while the sourassed sourpuss needs a whooping 1,513 to win.

Run Bernie, Run.

You know, I meant to ask--I thought there was going to be time, but alas there wasn't--WillyT why he was for Methuselah, when Messalina Agrippina had given him nearly everything he wanted.

She gave him all these goodies, applicable to WillyT as both a governmental employee and a possible recipient of welfare, and so I thought he'd be grateful.

But nooooooo.....despite that he'd gotten a lot, he wanted to get more, he wanted to get it all, and Methuselah promised him.  Talk about being ungrateful to a benefactor.

And to think, if he'd supported the worthier candidate from the start, he'd probably still be on Skins's island, not to mention on the winning side.

So now my question to WillyT: was it worth it?

Bernie supporters aren't just interested in getting more frees stuff. They actually believe that St. Bernie will punish the wealthy just for being wealthy.

They fail to realize that if Bernie could implement all of his plans, we be begging Argentina for economic aid.

AP/FOX/CNN are reporting Hildabeast has won AZ, looks like a gain of 40 delegates for her highness and 16 for the cranky old man.  The Bernie Dummies are calling shenanigans.  :panic:

Sorry; I'd dozed off while waiting for mid-morning to come; it's difficult to stay awake all night any more, since the heart-attack last May.

Apparently the worthier candidate's winning Arizona by a healthy margin, 60-38%, and's won 45 delegates thus far, to Methuselah's 17.

Too bad for the Bernie bullies.

While waiting to hear that Messalina Agrippina's similarly swept Idaho and Utah, the schedule for the rest of this week:

March 26, Alaska, Democrat, caucus, 20 delegates
March 26, Hawaii, Democrat, caucus, 34 delegates
March 26, Washington, Democrat, caucus, 118 delegates

You know, the states in the Pacific time zone need to do something, such as having their polls open 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. (Pacific time); as inconvenient it is for those of us on Central time, it's even worse for those in the Eastern time zone.

Anyway, one awakes to some rather discombobulating news.

Methuselah wins Idaho and 17 delegates, while the worthier candidate picks up only 6.

Methuselah wins Utah and 18 delegates, while Messalina Agrippina picks up only 7.

However, it wasn't a bad night for the lady; she got 59 delegates while the sourassed sourpuss picked up one less, 58.  No matter which way one slices the numbers, 59 is a number greater than 58.

But caution; there's still about 32 delegates from these three states tonight who haven't yet been selected, and one needs to be wary of dirty tricks by Bernie bullies to steal them.

On any other day DU-folk would tell you that Idaho and Utah are weird and scary states that should be disenfranchised entirely (except for any DU members who happen to live there ... and have taken a loyalty oath to the D Party).

As for our time zone, it's our way of inconveniencing all those East-Coast-based MSM people by keeping them up till late at night.

As for our time zone, it's our way of inconveniencing all those East-Coast-based MSM people by keeping them up till late at night.

I've always been curious about life in the Pacific time zone, although not curious enough to check it out; while I've been thousands of miles eastward, the furthest west I've ever been was Anaconda, Montana, which was about as close to California and Judy grasswire that I ever cared to get.

Television never dominated this life as it dominated others' lives, but anyway:

The CBS Nightly News with the liars Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather was broadcast in the eastern time zone at 6:30 p.m., and carried live in the central time zone at 5:30 p.m.

<<<always thought 5:30 was the most excellent time for the world news, just before supper, as many are still eating supper at 6:30 p.m.

And then the suppertime regional news was always at 6:00 p.m., immediately following the world news; again, excellent timing.

"Prime time" started at 7:00 p.m. central time, and was over at 10:00 p.m.

The final evening regional news was always at 10:00 p.m., sending everyone to bed by the reasonable hour of 10:30.

It always seemed to me that despite the effeteness and arrogance and elitism and dominance of the eastern time zone, the central time zone got things at the best hours.

I guess however those in the Pacific time zone had to see television on a delayed, not live, basis.

But that was okay, because no one was being forced to live in the Pacific time zone, and if one chose to live there, well, one had to accept the disadvantages of it.

Growing up I never much worried about time zone differences. For oddness in time zones you have to go to Asia. India has a couple of half-zones, where adjacent time zones are half an hour apart. OTOH, China, the whole country, is one time zone. So it's the same time in Beijing or Harbin and in Aksu and Kashi; for some reason I'm guessing that the official time aligns best with the sun in Beijing rather than in Kashi.

I thought India was also a single time zone, which is why they are 1/2 hour off the world.  Are there parts that are not?

Apparently the final count from last night is that Messalina Agrippina picked up only 51 new delegates, giving her a total of 1,681 (2,383 needed to win), while Methuselah swiped 67 new delegates, giving the sourassed sourpuss a total of 937 (2,383 needed to win).

It looks suspiciously as if the Bernie bullies stole Idaho and Utah.

How does franksolich know those were stolen?

Using my primitive reasoning--and the primitives are never wrong, remember--which is if the side I wanted to win loses, it's definite proof the winning side cheated.

Exactly. They're just as good at math as bernie is.
