majority of you here have no problem with that.

Yes, after confirming with the OP that the intent of the thread was to accuse the Clinton campaign of voter fraud, I alerted on it.

Guilty as charged.

The results of the alert are amazing to me.

Makes me think maybe that poll that 33% of Bernie supporters wont vote for Hillary is true.

Nothing more selfish and scary than that.

I see now that the message is deleted? Not sure how that works.

What is disgusting is the majority of jurors see no problem accusing a Democrat of voter fraud.

Just so there is NO confusion, the allegation was made then doubled down on, before I alerted.

Darn newbie trolls bring up the most inconvenient things.

Have some fun riding the crazy town train though DU's paranoid fever swamps.

Here is a bit of a tease, much more is available at the link.

1. I never saw the post, how can you say the majority of DU is okay with it?

Then again, you just got here. Eventually you'll figure out that there are more than 10 people posting here, and opinions are like assholes.

one person called it a RIDICULOUS alert to say we dont want people here accusing Democrats of voter fraud....I am or was under the impression DU was a place for democrats and liberals, obviously not.

73. Since none of us can see the post, why should we take your word for it?

Atomic Kitten's been here a long time and has a long history of being interested in election fraud. She's not a shit stirrer on this topic and if she had links, I for one would have wanted to see them.

Furthermore, there's plenty of DUers who now won't vote to hide any posts in GDP since POC are being shamefully alert stalked.

You have no idea why some folks vote to hide or not. Some DUers believe the debate should continue in the thread, not shut down points of view you just happen to disagree with.

Please tell me this is not what you are doing.

I'm considering it.

There is video of Clinton supporters buzzing registration lines and going in to vote in Nevada's caucuses without registering. There is video of Pres Bill Clinton violating election law/skirting the rules in Massachusetts by electioneering at four precincts. And the list goes on. Documented. There is huge disparity between Bernie's and Hillary's absentee voters. So, yes, I think this is worthy of consideration.

My take on The Bern's win in MI is that Yooper moose votes for The Bern outnumbered Detroit graveyard votes for The CHILL.

9. OP posted in this reply; deleting OP because I'm getting PMs from people to afraid to post them.

Ghost voters.

Yes, the following are old pieces, but I started researching current absentee ballot voting. I found evidence of accusations and litigation involving harvesting absentee ballots from nursing home residents over the years; an example of which I have posted first.

The Dangers of Mail-In Ballots
http://new.grassrootinstitute.org/2010/12/the-dangers-of-mail-in-ballots/
Dec 22, 2010

Excerpts:

Florida also has a history of problems with absentee ballots. “The lack of in-person, at-the-polls accountability makes absentee ballots the tool of choice for those inclined to commit fraud,” the Florida Department of Law Enforcement concluded.

<snip>

Former Pennsylvania Democrat congressman Austin Murphy was convicted in 1998 of visiting nursing homes and improperly “assisting” the filling out of absentee ballots. “In this area there’s a pattern of nursing-home administrators frequently forging ballots under residents’ names,” says Sean Cavanagh, a Democratic former county supervisor who uncovered the scandal.

Absentee ballot voting for Hillary in this election cycle seemed strangely lopsided to me. This will undoubtedly be shot down by the Clinton camp, but perhaps may shed some light and open this up for discussion.

McAuliffe veto opens polls for Hillary Clinton ‘ghost voters’

By Kenric Ward | Watchdog.org Virginia Bureau
March 30, 2015

RICHMOND, Va. — Plowing the ground for Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid, Gov. Terry McAuliffe vetoed an election-reform bill that leaves a gaping hole for absentee-ballot abuse in Virginia.

House Bill 1318 would have required phone, mail or email applicants to provide a photo ID to receive an absentee ballot — just as they are required to do when applying in person.

But Democrat McAuliffe said Friday the measure by Delegate Jeffrey Campbell, R-Marion, “imposes barriers on eligible voters.” The Virginia League of Women Voters supported the governor’s position.

Reagan George, president of the Virginia Voters Alliance, said Campbell’s bill was reasonable, and consistent with Virginia’s photo ID law. He said the governor’s action leaves “a gaping hole for ghost voters.”

“This will only bloat the voter rolls as McAuliffe prepares the ground for Hillary Clinton’s (presidential) run in 2016,” George told Watchdog.org.

In the 2012 presidential election, 447,907 absentee ballots were cast in Virginia — 90 percent of them Democrats, George said. Constituting 8.3 percent of the vote that year, absentee ballots could swing the 2016 election in the closely contested state.

County registrars publish a list of absentee-ballot requests each week, and George said the Democratic Party targets that roster.

“Democrats check these lists religiously,” he said. “People get campaign mailers (from the party) even before they get their ballots.”

Republicans have not been so proactive.

By exempting remote requests from the photo ID requirement that applies to every other voter, McAuliffe leaves the way open for electoral mischief.

“We know that McAuliffe (a former chief fundraiser for the Clintons and ex-chairman of the Democratic National Committee) is plowing the ground for Hillary in 2016,” George said.

Campbell’s bill passed the House 62-34 and cleared the Senate 20-17. Since two-thirds majorities are required in both chambers to override a gubernatorial veto, McAuliffe is likely to prevail.

GOP House and Senate leaders declined to comment on what action, if any, will be taken.

Hmmm. Looks like I missed the roast.

I just wanted to say that I wrote and deleted an OP this afternoon because one of our new members had a meltdown. The author of my roast is just not having a difference of opinion and is distorting what I wrote, so I deleted my OP for two reasons: (1) I come here for open discussion, and (2) for the sake of peace at this time when I think we all are anxious and don't need the provocation. I still maintain my post was appropriate, topical, and worthy of discussion It was researched with links. I posted it in the last reply in the thread in its entirety. Anybody interested can give it a look. This will be locked soon as meta, so thanks for your time. Cheers.

Apparently not everyone at the DUmp has gotten the word on who Skin's mamma san works for. :hammer: :hammer:

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

Note to DUmmies, the number of delegates Bernie has won so far still does not add up to the number of super-delegates Hillary already has in the bag. Hillary already has the nomination in the bag. Pretty much the only reason she is still going out in public is to give the appearance of an un-rigged primary for you rubes and to gin up the fund raising for the general. I hope this experience gives a glimpse into how your party really works and what they really think about you.

Here's a hint, you are too stupid to pick the right candidate in the primary so the party is going to pick it for you.
