Well, here I am at work.  I actually made it in at 8am today.  That's a rarity, I told my boss to be sure to note this in my employee file.   

It's my morning to watch the receptionist desk, while our day girl is on vacation this week. 

I got great news from the boss.  She just fired and escorted out the annoying new girl that has been the AP/Payroll/HR person for the last month.  *happy dance*

Oh, she was so annoying.  And stupid.  I'd hear the questions that she kept asking.  My boss said she just couldn't take it anymore. 

Me and another office girl are taking on some extra work until they find a decent replacement.  But we're going to get paid extra.

Sometimes someone really is better than everyone one else.  It is such a same we are always picked on. 

But she wasn't.  Trust me on this.  I really think she's one of those people that thinks if they complain/bitch enough about something, they won't have to do it.  That just doesn't work around here.  This is a smaller family owned dealership, and when the receptionist goes on vacation we are all expected to help out and pick up the slack.

Okay, so the day receptionist is on vacation this week, so the office girls are having to pick up the slack.  Anywho, so last Tuesday I was training her to answer the switchboard and all she did was bitch about having to answer the phones Monday morning.

I'm working the phones Friday night and all day Saturday, and she was complaining and complaining about Monday.  I turned to her and said "well I'm doing Friday night and all day Saturday do you want to switch?" and she said "oh, no."

Sounds like to me she was jealous of the red head in the office. You're better off without the extra load and fight waiting to happen. I've been there. Good luck with the new person.

Woo hoo, actually the lady that quit (who's a good friend of mine) and was replaced with this girl, just called in and is asking for her job back.   *happy dance*

We are just digesting a big family breakfast. (Cornbread, biscuits, sour dough rolls, cured ham steaks and individual cheese omelets. YUM!)

We spent yesterday at a water park. We rented a private cabana with a slew of cushy furniture, a fridge, an Ipod docking staion radio and a 27" flatscreen. Much of yesterday was spent drinking huge margaretas while the kids ran themselves stupid on the water slides and Mom and Dad alternated reading, paddling in the pool and hot tubs.

Life is pretty good.  Herself, herself goes back to work on Friday after 2 weeks off.

It's going.  The young one started football on Monday.  That's a first in our family (NO one in my family, or Mr Flame's family ever played), so it's been interesting.  2 1/2 - 3 hour practices the past 2 nights.  But omg, he is FAST!  Other parent's were talking about how fast these other 2 kids were (parents from last year, with returning players), and my guy SMOKED em, both nights.  I'm talking, not just beat them, but left them in the DUST.    He's loving it so far.  He's a very competitive type, who loves to run and hit things, so he's in heaven.

Have an exciting trip to the grocery store planned today, but that's about it!

It's thursday for me, and a crappy one at that.  Was told to come into work 2 hours early, for nothing at all, and I've got a huge career impacting test this afternoon that I'm pretty confident I'm gonna fail.  I've also got the added stress of out processing this place, and ensuring we've got everything ready by the time we move...  Lots of stress today.
