Here is the real Romney
« on: March 03, 2016, 06:40:39 PM »
Hi,

If you don't look at the Stockman website, I would highly recommend it.

He takes Romney apart here and there is a lot I did not know.  FWIW, I met Stockman briefly a few years back and he does not mince words...

I have my reservations about Trump, wishing he had a better conservative history but so far he is doing the bidding of the Tea Party very well - getting the politicians of both parties to recognize the public is pissed off.

Right now many of us are under the illusion that our elected representatives are supposed to do just that, represent us and our views in Washington.  This election is really exposing how untrue that is.  The "establishment" is bought and paid for by big political donors and all are terrified they will lose their gravy train.

The other night Mike Huckabee said that Trump is leading the revolution that was bound to happen when the public is fed up to the brim.  He mused, better the revolution is done with ballots than bullets.

Read an email today where someone quoted a survey sent out by the RNC asking about Obama and stopping his policies.  His comment was nowhere on the survey was a question about how satisfied or dissatisfied he was that the republicans did nothing to stop it.  Donate to our cause to stop Obama, just like last time we asked for money, only we now have a significant proven history record of not doing what we promised.

Saw another email supposedly written by Bill Bennett regarding Trump having some sort of "accident".  God I hope it does not come to that.

Right now Romney is helping Trump by drawing attention to exactly why the public is fed up.

Best regards,

Trump calls himself a common sense conservative.  He doesn't go around thumping a Bible, or mouthing pieties.  But, he's real and despite the haters, his admirers across the political spectrum seem to like that.
He won two and lost two tonight.  His two losses were in closed party caucuses.  I believe Cruz received one delegate more than Trump in one of them.  Midnight here and not going to look up the exact results now, but, overall tonight I truly doubt he's in any danger of having his delegate count superiority in jeopardy, nor does the way forward look particularly bright for any of the remaining field. :)

Ya know, I keep imagining how different 2012 might have been that November, had Mittens had his indignant kittens all over Barack Hussein's dismal failure in Benghazi, for starters  and had the National Review (these days fit to line a parakeet's cage maybe) devoted an entire issue to tearing into Obama's past four years.

Makes one wonder just how much a Trump Presidency threatens the cozy little arrangement the two "separate" major political parties luxuriate in.  The urgency of defeating Trump in the primary is apparently much more of an imperative to the Establishment pukes than worrying about lil' old Hill o'Beans. :whistling:

Dunno about anyone else, but that right there is a beautifully cogent argument to vote FOR Donald.
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.

Exactly.  Trump cannot be controlled as their boy wonder Rubio could have been.  The control the RNC establishment has held for decades now is slowly slipping through their fingers and they are panic mode.

RNC   :hammer:  Trump
