Opinions are squashed by mods regardless of being polite and civil in your writings. Obviously things would change after that amount of time. But stifling opinions laid out in a polite manner...well...that's the last place I ever thought this board would be. Skinner...EarlG...you need to get up out of the day to day and take a step back from it all so you can actually see what's happened with your board. Opinions stomped on....posters called names and victims blamed...popular threads locked. I am a liberal. I have never voted for anybody with an R next to their name. And there are a lot of people here just like me. This is THE place I've gone for liberals and progressives to have conversation about politics. After 12 years, I'm obviously no troll. Why is my opinion...even when presented in a polite and respectful way, no longer welcome here? To quote Rick and Morty: Get your shit together, Summer.

All the money I've donated....and I cant state my opinion without it being stifled. And trust me when I say I've been polite and respectful...over the top nice about it. But not anymore. Even going years without posting. Just lurking and donating money. If I want to express my opinion in a respectful manner... MOTHER ****ERS...I SHOULD BE ALLOWED. Give me my ****ing donation money back you assholes.

I've never heard of this DUmmie either. He does seem to be getting the shaft, too bad about all those donations. Fool and his money, and all that. What a vile place DU is, who the hell would want to hang out there all day?

Such is always the final outcome of collectivist thought and philosophy: The denigration of "democracy" to totalitarian fascism. This is the perfect example of why our Founding Fathers designed a decentralized government. Don't like your chains, comrade? Too bad! You were instrumental in forging them yourself in the hopes that they would be placed on someone else. But, like many others who have begged for collective servitude, you learn far too late that the chains you made and the prisons you built were your own.It's truly a shame, you know, that so many of you DUmbasses have now gotten a good look at what you have created and recoil in horror. Maybe this is a hint that you need to drag yourself from the darkness and into the light. $kinner and his minions will only become more heavy handed and corrupt in their dealings with you and others.
