I always enjoy your posts, too.. don't see them much anymore though because I stay out that overrun place. I post in Hill's Group, the BOG, and the AA Group. that's it. I got two alerts on my posts yesterday though for nothing. They were nothing because I totally watch what I say thanks to the overlords. thankfully the juries didn't see it their way. See ya, josh.. yardwork (40,059 posts) 5. I'm sorry, Josh.The blatant racism all over DU - coming from supposedly "progressive" campaign supporters - is shocking. I always knew that the left had a problem with racism, but I had no idea it was this bad. I think that the lowest, saddest moment for me on DU was to read posts saying that a wealthy white Hollywood actress has done more for activism than Dolores Huerta. I honestly never thought I'd see the day when something that stupid was said on DU and recced by hundreds. Please enjoy life outside this cesspool. You will be happier immediately if you get away from here. I'm following you out the door.

Our ability and our willingness to challenge, to question, to disagree with authority led us down the path to freedom...for AAs in the yoke of slavery, for minorities who asked for a chance to obtain an education and equal access to job opportunities, for women to control their own decisions about their bodies, for all people to marry the one they love. It is incomprehensible to me that a band of zealots on a democratic discussion board would place themselves above this bedrock right in the context of simply debating who is best to lead our party! Swarming around to deride, ridicule, and ultimately hide and ban even those who quietly and respectfully question is not how democracy works. "My way or the highway" is a republican value, "shut up and follow the leader" is totalitarian. You fought the good fight, Josh. "Stay strong" back atcha, and I hope we see you when the waters calm.

So sorry to see you go, josh, like too many others whose voices have been stilled simply for advocating for Hillary and/or for stating unpleasant truths about which too many are in denial.
