6. Just saw Lee Fang (Intercept) on Democracy Now.

He said one speech was specifically tailored to a Goldman Sachs audience, where she stated she was against all this populist "reign in the banks and Wall Street stuff".

Release the transcripts Hillary. Just what do you tell banksters behind closed doors?

You are assuming that she has the transcripts. But I don't know of any speaker who keeps transcripts of their speeches (prepared texts, yes, but not transcripts). Transcripts, if they are done, are done by the hosts. She probably had no idea last night if there are transcripts or who has them, so she would have been insane to say, "Sure, I'll release them," since they probably aren't in her possession and aren't hers to release.

But, of course, none of that will matter since the very fact that someone said, "release the transcripts" will now lead to months of "WHY HASN'T SHE RELEASED THE TRANSCRIPTS?! IT'S BEEN 24 WHOLE HOURS SINCE IT FIRST CAME UP. WHAT'S SHE HIDING!"

"SHE RELEASED THE TRANSCRIPTS BUT THEY DON'T INCLUDE ANYTHING WE CAN USE AGAINST HER SO SHE MUST HAVE ALTERED THEM!"

"SHE RELEASED THE TRANSCRIPTS BUT THEY DON'T INCLUDE ANYTHING WE CAN USE AGAINST HER SO SHE DIDN'T RELEASE ALL OF THE TRANSCRIPTS!!"

Followed by years of:

'WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE TRANSCRIPTS?!?!?!"

9. How do YOU know it's that easy?

I am sure their are recordings. There always are for the purposes of reviewing and correcting to avoid errors in future speeches. Also they like to listen to audience responses to they can determine what works with an audience and what doesn't. They also use recording and transcripts at the text for books to make the writing process go quicker.
