I feel like I'm in between a deal with God and the Devil right now... :(

I'm a vegan. (of COURSE you are.)  Animal rights are very important to me. But I'm also unemployed. (Which a normal human would have noted before their concern for animals) I'm only able to search for jobs for one more month before I can no longer pay the rent, and I'm out on my ass. (What an odd thing to say. You're always able to search for jobs, you dick.)

But recently, I've done 2 job interviews. Out of my entire month of job hunting, only 2 have requested an interview with me.

One is a 2 yr old start up that aims to create a green energy solution to making masonry. They grow bricks from sand and a proprietary ingredient! AWESOME  (it's called cement, idiot)

And the other...

Is the largest animal pharmaceutical company in the world.  (Ummm...it makes pharmaceuticals for animals? Or it's run by animals?)

At first, I thought "Cool, I'd be helping animals!"

But then during the interview, the hiring manager said his division manufacturers devices for the poultry industry.

They make the machines that inject chickens to create eggs. I would be building those machines.

I need a job. But I'm crushed with this dilemma.  The pay is apparently good, the benefits are great... But... My work would be directly aiding one of the industries that I morally oppose.  (This is only a dilemma for an idiot.)

This sucks. Can I get some support? (Sure: it's down the street, not across the block. The barrel is better in your mouth than in your ear. A bottle of pills goes down easier with a little water, bit not too much. )

I just have one question...

It is really not that hard to find out how chickens lay eggs and as far as I can tell no one has discovered a way that is better then what God did.

Well, I'm guessing he's building artificial inseminaters. What they didn't tell him was, he's the one that's going to jack off the roosters to collect the samples to be inseminated.

Worked at a place once where the HR chick was a dyed in the wool peta member. She quit and left for a job at a...wait for it...slaughter house.
