DUmmies react to the Bundy arrest

There are several threads at DU covering this story, so it was hard to pick just one. I chose to bring over the one that has the most comments.

19. Ammon Bundy, 5 Others, Arrested After Shootout In Oregon, 1 Dead

Late Tuesday evening, bird sanctuary occupier and would-be land thief Ammon Bundy found himself detained after a police shootout, leaving one dead and two injured. The shootout appears to have occurred while Bundy and company were en route to John Day, a town approximately 70 miles from the occupied wildlife refuge.

The men were stopped by local police, supported by FBI. The stop turned violent, resulting in the two people being injured during the altercation. It is not clear at this time who shot first. Those injured were apparently rushed to Harney District Hospital in Burns, Oregon.

Ammon Bundy rose to national infamy for his illegal occupation of a closed wildlife refuge. His gang of would be land snatchers were in the process of attempting to steal public land as part of a private enrichment scheme, pledging to free up exploitation to private interests which would despoil the land placed into the public trust.

The Burns police department appears to have then issued warning to the remaining occupiers to vacate the sanctuary or else they would be put under imminent arrest. We do not know at this time how many of the Bundy gang have fled the scene.

We will be giving updates as this story unfolds.

Compare this to how the DUmmies shrieked and howled about how the NY police tearing down the Occupiers' illegal camp (Site of numerous highly illegal actions stemming from the illegal occupation of public land) was such a hideous abomination and violation of their civil rights, even as no one was hurt during that action.

I'll counter that with saying I want all illegal aliens removed from MY Country and I want MY Country restored to it's original glory where the rule of law prevails and illegal invaders are detained and returned to their country of origin.

It's disturbing how thrilled they are that someone got killed.  Regardless of how much I may have disagreed with some of the recent liberal demonstration tactics, I never advocated going in and shooting them.

Notice how hysterical the DUmp got every time the police did anything to restrain the OWS demonstrators.  Arresting people sitting in the middle of a busy street = fascism.  Shooting people sitting in the middle of the woods = justice.  The hypocrisy is astounding.  And for the record DUmmies (since I know you're reading this), I don't agree with the Bundy tactics anymore than I agreed with the OccuIdiots.
