DUmmies are consumed by politics day in day out. Sucks to be one.

Even at Democratic Underground there are few days when I log out and say this was a nice news day..Especially during these last couple of months..But today was different, for the first time in several weeks I was able to feel good about things, just because of this!!

Isn’t it rather rare lately to smile while reading a piece of news?

2. I've made DU a little better for me.

Like you I come here for news and am tired of Democratic politics lately on it.

For the most part I go Latest Treads now and just skip over all Primaries, BS and HRC threads. Makes it much faster and I don't walk away as pissed off.
Well than, stop posting at DU since it is Democratic Underground.

Remember when the left used to bitch and moan about targeted political prosecutions?  I guess they are cool with it now.

bubr needs to get a life that is larger than DU's narrow (and narrowing!) politics. You know, like getting a more appropriate, larger size of shoes.

As to the indictment that has bubr Snoopy-dancing, it looks like the Alliance Defending Freedom has been working some with the CMP, so they seem likely to be the ones who will defend Daleiden and the CMP people. I think they have the chops to make this abusive prosecution and PP's civil lawsuit very uncomfortable for the Harris County DA and PP.

I don't think you're going to enjoy the discovery phase, DUmmie.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840
