Just Who Was the Constitution Written For?

This possibly will become the  my longest stream of consciousness rant, so tune out right now it you aren't in the mood to sit and read my thoughts.

The first words of our beloved, and much invoked Constitution are these:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The job of the military is NOT to go abroad spreading democracy and handing out food packets.  May as well rustle up some Skittles shitting unicorns to send to these godforsaken hellholes no matter how much we as a compassionate nation would love to play God and fix everything.  We cannot heal our own nation's wounds at this point in time.  GWB, the neocons, and damn near every Democrat politician decided that invading Afghanistan wasn't enough, never mind the Saudis bred most of the 9/11 monsters and provided their training and financing.  Hell, no, Obama compounded the error by ****ing up the little good progress Bush had made.  Bottom line was Saddam the fiend is dead and the Iraqi body count is much higher than ever.  Oh and by the way, Iraq no longer has any power or desire to check the gathering power of Iran's batshit insane mullahs.  We are less safe at home, the Middle East is totally debstabilized, and NOW after 16 miserable years of foreign misadventures into the most vile environments we have an enormous national debt and a wounded body politic.  But forget all that and concentrate on the shattered lives our own OVERUSED, UNDERPAID and criminally UNDERSERVED veterans.

There are no good outcomes to this sorry miscalculation on the part of the presidents.  I would like to give a special shoutout to that perv Bill.  Instead of concentrating on nailing your next piece of tail you might have decided to actually do the job you were elected for and actually support and defend the precious document for which our Founders literally laid their lives on the line.  But hell no, your sorry ass was all about the getting nailed.  And we have an overprivileged, overBotoxed bitch running now who believes the fact she helped dig up dirt on your poor victims while remaining "loyal" to your sorry ass in a sham marriage ought to be enough to convince guillible Democrats to vote for her.  Oh yeah, and forget about the emails, it's just a Repuke plot.  Yeah, right, Hillary, and you and BILL are actually Chelsea's parents. :mental:

And Democrats, what's your alternative?  For the sake of feeling a smidgen of pity, I shall refrain from pointing out the always ineffectual O'Malley except to note that if Baltimore is the culmination of his governing genius, let's ship him off to our worst enemy forthwith as a Trojan jackass.  He can't be any worse for the Iranians than the mullah terrorists.

Ah, yes, good old Bernie.  Hey, Bern, Joy Behar the person who thinks she's a woman, wants to burn the sheets up with you.  ACK.  Wow, and she hates Donald.  What a deterrent for us Trump voters, lol.  I'm sure he's not said anything nice about her raddled old ass lately.  But, hey, take a picture with Bernie and I'll stick it in my window come Halloween to keep out evil.

Bernie grow the **** right up, please.  You are not living in a Socialist utopia (and shopping at GUM); you're the most fortunate of beings, a citizen of the United States of America.  Be mature, ie., realistic, enough to realize none of us actual tax payers feel much like forking out even more sums of money so your ego can take another massage.  Call Joy for that.  We already spend more money on each kid going to school every year then some people earn and now you want to take the often DUMB students Common Core regurgitates into the (ever shrinking) work atmosphere every year and GIVE them free college education!  Talk about a dreamer with as much chance of success as the DREAMERS.

Speaking of these oh so oppressed kids who managed to get smuggled into the USA illegally and get free health care and education and housing and what the hell ever for 18 years.  Actually, the only free part was you didn't pay for the ILLEGAL CRIMINAL behavior of your parents, WE DID.  It's not enough that we struggle to put food on the table for our own children and a roof over their heads, nope, gotta give your non-entitled asses a free ride at the expense of our own economic futures and those of our children.  All because your parents disrespected our laws, the same laws that exist in every country.  Newsflash for your delusional asses, our Constitution isn't YOUR Constitution.  You are no more entitled to the benefits that flow from it than any truly starving and desperate child throughout the world.  For whom, it must be said, I feel much more compassion than I do for the uneducated, impoverished and yet still chubby and healthy enough economic refugees flooding in to the USA.  No mas.  If someone has stats that we're more flooded with illegals from other countries than the southern ones, please provide them.  It won't change the fact though, ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSINGS or VISA OVERSTAYS are a crime and the only answer needs to be deportation, or detention camps like Australia provides until they can deport illegals.

Please spare me the sappy yet uplifting words enshrined on the base of Statute of Liberty.  They were written for those who followed the LEGAL process, not for you and your trespassing kin.  When our own citizen parents break our laws, their children suffer the consequences, don't think they don't.  What makes you think you are such special snowflakes?  Your country of origin is where you belong, but if you are spawned on American soil by an illegal mother and thus entitled to claim citizenship-the 14th Amendment WILL be amended eventually-that doesn't give your parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles and aunts and cousins the right to come on over like our nation is a big old fiesta, or whatever it is the Irish or Chinese or whatever ethnic group you belong to call a conglomeration of every relative under the sun.

Bernie, in a perfect world Hillary would be in prison, every damn terrorist in the world would be eradicated like the vermin they are, no one would be hungry, cold, unhoused, abused, abandoned and afraid.  That place is called Heaven, look it up.  Here on Earth, there's Reality and then there's its buttress for us in America, the Constitution.

It was written in the common and plain language of the time so that people would no the limits of the power of the government, and the extent of their own rights.

The Liberals curent excuse...started by Obama before he became President...is that it's a "fundamentally flawed document".  Libtards hate the Constitution because they view it as a bunch of "negative Liberties"...in essence it tells Government what they can't do...instead of what they can do...therefore they much change it.   And add in the popular "racist" slur being used in regards to the men who wrote it because they were rich white slave owners and therefore the Constitution must be ignored.

You'd be amazed how many people don't realize the 3/4th clause is actually an anti-slavery measure the Framers put in there.

Woodrow Wilson was the one who coined the "living doccument" term in regards to the Constitution.

You're absolutely right it was written for the common man.  But the left has never looked at itself as common or one of us.

 I believe since it states so right in the Preamble that this is we the People's document.  Since our elected officials no longer seem to realize our rights, security and prosperity are reserved, in our own country, to we the common people, I believe the populist surge on the Left and the Right are a logical and inevitable consequence of their elitist attitudes over the decades.

The bloodless revolution has arrived.  I don't think a mainstream candidate has a prayer this time around.  Hence the appeal of Trump and Sanders.  I will support whoever wins the primary, but it's doubtful a Rubio or Kasich gets the nod.

Precisely. Though certain establishment types on both the left and the right, insist that the average person can't understand what it means. This is typical. I'll take it a step further. Heres a very pertinent yet ignored part of the declaration of independence:

While not 'legally binding' it makes very clear what the framers intended for the purpose of a federal government, in the first place.

I myself don't see voting for anyone this coming election. First, because I'm in a very safe district. Second, I don't believe that politics and voting can or will solve the problems that we who hold true conservative viewpoints feel are critical. And third, I have decided to withdraw my consent as one of the 'governed', because I don't consent to any of the run of the mill bullshit that happens in this nation. It clears the conscience to a good degree.
