You know, The DUmp is Omaha Steve's only friend.  And he's dying. And demented.

I blame the DUmmies for this pathetic post even though all of them are demented also and have no memory longer than 10 minutes.  But still, some of them should have smart phones and they could put poor, demented, and dying Omaha Steve's birthday in that calendar and get a reminder.

Happy Birthday, Omaha Steve.  Maybe, now, in your twilight hours, you should leave the DUmp, leave Bernie Sanders, and try to cultivate some real friendships where you live. Which is apparently Omaha, in case you forgot already.

Not to mention dragging out his dying for years denying Marta a chance for real happiness with a man that will treasure her. Using up whatever money she has, now that the meager paycheck he brought home is probably cut in half, and spending it on himself.

Dummies are consistent... consistently selfish.

If I was her, I would find out about whatever native plants around her area are poisonous and feed an extract to him. Then claim he had lost his mind and was eating wild plants when they was walking around in the woods. She did not know they were dangerous!

Steve's getting near the point where it won't be safe for him to be alone, and probably his keyboard needs to be disapparated (to use a Harry-Potterism) soon as well. Sad, and at a rather young age (I've got a couple of years on him!). If he's otherwise fairly healthy physically, his wife is facing many very trying years.

My MIL had "dementia" caused by hyponatremia the last 18 months of her life, and it was pretty trying. Giving her really salt-laden foods kept her close to an even keel, but she was almost never who she had been. Steve's wife may be facing 10 or 20 years of that, though much of it might be at a SNF.
