I just got a post from a FB friend who is usually quite reasonable -- we are usually closely aligned, politically -- but she was aghast that Jane Fonda is going to be honored. I'm not even sure if that part is true, but maybe it is. That damned Obama! Anyway, she said "Men died as a result of her actions. She should not be honored."

I replied that men died as the result of the actions of the other men who sent people to die in Vietnam, in a bullshit war.

Yeah, but it ticks me off, how just as the campaign season gets underway for Top DUmmies, say circa late September every year, Atman more or less goes into hiding, holding his tongue, hoping we won't notice him, as if he doesn't want to win anything.

I dunno why he doesn't want to win Top DUmmies; nearly all his fellow primitives do.

Cryano's another primitive who does this.

Both of them could easily win a high spot in the Top DUmmies if only they'd be more active late every autumn into early every winter.

Jane Fonda laughed and cavorted while on a photo op aiming a North Vietnamese anti aircraft gun, one which assuredly shot down American aviators.
Then she took her self publicity show to the Hanoi Hilton.
As she toured she lapped up the propaganda of our American hero's captors.
When the photo op was drawing to a close, Hanoi Jane declared that our men were being "treated well".
That was an open invitation for the war criminals to continue and increase their torture of our POW's with no fear of reprisal.
Until Jeremiah Denton was so bravely able to blink out the word torture in morse code while reading a propaganda statement prepared by the criminals, and being televised, our POW's had to bear the brunt and pain of Hanoi Jane's treachery.

Dating myself here---But, I miss those urinal strainers with her smiling face printed on them.  Used to be all the rage back in the day.  I always felt her marriage to crazy Ted was at least some level of punishment.  I hope he made her bark like a dog.
