Female Dr. abuses Uber driver and the Internet unleashes it's (yet we're the dumb, inarticulate ones) wrath.
Can't say I'm sorry for her (4Chan and Reddit are out for blood).
Her career might not be over, but it might be in her best interest to take an extended
vacation overseas to visit friends and family for awhile.
Miami doctor placed on leave after confrontation with Uber driver goes viral
A neurology resident, employed by the Jackson Health System, has been placed on administrative leave after a controversial video involving an Uber driver went viral.
According to a statement from Jackson Health, Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon, a fourth-year resident, has been placed on leave, effective immediately, and removed from all clinical duties.
The statement also says an internal investigation has been launched, and the outcome will determine whether any disciplinary action will be taken.
The incident reportedly started when Ramkissoon got into an Uber vehicle without a reservation and refused to get out.
Salient facts appear to be that a young, entitled woman who happens to be a neurology resident got drunk and made an ass of herself on camera. Since she is attractive and well on her way to making above minimum wage, DU's long knives come outI'm going to hazard a guess and say that at least 25% of DUmmies have been drunk in public, and 20% have made a scene. But, of course, they're worthless assholes, and you expect that of them. DU absolutely hates doctors...HATES them, and we all know why: they have the perseverance to get a difficult degree, they stand to make a living wage, and they don't generally give their services away for free. Those facts shame all DUmmies. And boy, does it show:

I think her folks are from Trinidad. Either they worked very hard or she is one more of those entitled idiots whose parents live vicariously off their accomplishments and shower them with rights and benefits with no responsibility. On the other hand, some folks should stay away from alcohol period.
I hope they kick her out of medicine - I wouldn't want her near me or mine. (You'll get your wish, unless she goes on one of those missions of mercy to underdeveloped countries full of harelip bumpkins. Like Jamaica.)

I am high-strung and angry much of the time yet I have managed to NEVER be rude to a clerk or waiter or taxi driver, etc. (From years of watching yuou on DU, that cannot possibly be true.) Seriously, WTF is wrong with these people!

She's a pretty young woman though, so she got off scott free. I hope he can sue her for damages.
