Police say each of the five men raped the woman. The father returned with two police officers but the attackers fled.

philo's argument is a false choice. We should be dealing with domestic rapists (I'd go for capital punishment for violent rapes like that!) AND shutting down "refugees" from Muslim countries, plus vetting those already here (and summarily deporting those not squeaky clean).

BTW, the only way to support the idea that the US has a "rape culture" is by dumbing down the definition of rape to include morning-after-remorse and stupid drunken (or otherwise intoxicated) choices. And remind me ... who was it that in the 60s and 70s encouraged and embraced casual sexual promiscuity?

A woman was beheaded in OKLAHOMA by the religion of peace and the DUmmies didn't care. They won't care about rape culture, no matter where it happens. Unless it happens to their family member, then they STILL won't blame the culture.
