A Strike/Boycott Action has been called for

We have voted on and called for a strike/boycott action at that other place. This action will be a series of escalating one day strikes/boycotts. The first action is called for Wednesday of this week. We are asking those that support this action to not visit the site at all on that day. Do not click on it to see what is being said or what is being posted. Do not rec any posts. Just don't go. Come here or go out and play in the real world.

Next week we will be calling for two days of Strike/Boycott action and will advise you later as to what those days will be. We would ask that you spread the word to your friends at the other place, in any manner you so chose. If you want to avoid a thread being locked, put it in the protected group. Please know that you could suffer a hide or even worse punishment for talking about it there. The decision is yours to make.

We believe that the jury system is completely broken and is being abused.

We also believe that several main forum hosts are subverting the Host Forum and are biased in their votes regarding Disruptive Meta threads. They consistently vote to leave Disruptive Meta threads by BSers and to lock alerted threads on HRCers. They also bully and harass other hosts and attempt to run them off hosting. They have been alerted on for months now by other hosts and many of these hosts are undeclared regarding the primaries or are O'Malley supporters, ie.....these hosts are in no way biased and recognize bullying when they see it.

Last night a host who defended another host from the constant bullying by one of the offending hosts was kicked off hosting by the Administrators. Rather than kick off the host who has been alerted on for bias, bullying and obstructing the other hosts countless times, the Admins chose to let him stay and kicked off one of the best and most fair hosts DU has.

We believe that Right Wing smear tactics are being used and that RW operatives are at that other place and their links and words are being allowed to stand in an effort to stir the caca and drive traffic to the site, regardless of whether or not the traffic consists of Democrats.

That other place is supposed to be for Democrats, but we believe it has now become just a business designed to make money and apparently it is not doing well so things that we thought we would never see there are occurring on a daily basis and with increasing frequency.

So this WEDNESDAY please join us in staying away from That Other Place. let our silence and our lack of clicks grab their attention and tell them we will no longer support their site if they will no longer support us, the supporters of the Democratic Front Runner and next President.

Don't forget, folks, today's the day of the Great Boycott, as the supporters of the worthier candidate shun the Bernie bullies on Skins's island; in fact, shun Skins's island altogether.

I think it's pretty dangerous, the way Wills' primitives are jocular about it.

Well, it doesn't appear that the boycott had any effect on traffic and comments on Skins's island yesterday, Wednesday, but that was to be expected.

The primitives supporting the worthier candidate forgot that the basic nature of Bernie bullies is a self-centered insensitivity, and so shunning them has no impact upon them.

Shunning's a great tool, and I've used it too many times to count, in my life. 

But it doesn't work on everybody; only on people who are aware of other people and their feelings.

So.....time for Wills & Co. to go back to the drawing board; one hopes to God they finally understand that the only tactic effective with Bernie bullies is blood-splattering, bone-shattering, violence.

They claim this is aimed at lowering traffic at Skin's island hoping the less traffic will hit him in the pocketbook and cause him to take action. But Skin's is going to wait until hillbot is the nominee and then act, not sooner. They'll have the whole place to themselves soon enough.

In the meanwhile, you're right, they should just go ahead and get in their shots while the bern-outs are still there instead of this silly boycott mess.
