I’ll be honest, I really don’t like to talk about racism as it pertains to President Obama. Not because it isn’t there — I actually believe it’s rampant throughout the Republican party — but because it’s just an argument that rarely gets us anywhere. You can’t “prove” racism. Sure, you can use a few examples, but most will be dismissed as the exception and not the rule. Hell, I can throw up a map showing the states of the Confederacy, the states which supported segregation and the “strongly Republican” states today (nearly all of which are identical) and these people will continue to deny racism has anything to do with their hatred of President Obama. And I always love how on an anniversary like Martin Luther King’s birthday, his “I Have a Dream Speech” or the Gettysburg Address, Republicans suddenly pretend to be some representative of equality and civil rights.

The KKK, started by democrats
Jim Crow, endorsed by democrats
The NRA was started to PROTECT black peoples right to own guns
Civil rights act of 1964 passed with overwhelming Republican support. Very few, if any, democrats voted
   for it.
Lyndon Johnson and his "Great Society". "I'll have those ni**ers voting for democrats for the next 100
   years."

OUR Presidential participants: Carson (black), Cruz (Cuban), Rubio (Cuban), Fiorina (Female)
YOUR participants: One old white guy, one old white woman and one white gun-grabber. Some diversity
   you have there.

Yet, WE are the racists.

Liberals disgust me.

3. Yup. I saw this at the bar last night.

Iowa is playing Stanford in the Rose Bowl. The Iowa fans were all staying in downtown LA. They did not like Stanford. They also did not like Hillary Clinton.

Shall we expect a :bouncy: on how you converted one of the non-believers, in front of a large crowd, and convinced them to vote for your white candidate liberal democrat, to the applause of onlookers (who also changed their minds due to your powers of persuasion), with police lurking behind the nearest shrub waiting for trouble and getting pats on the back and offers to buy you dinner, for your trouble?
Liberals disgust me. (Now I don't have to remember to put it on each post).

Because only the left goes searching for that which is not there in a desperate attempt to be offended about something.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Many people do not see evil until the gas is flowing into the chamber. That is why they get on the trains in the first place.

We will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again.

We don't have to pretend anything.  History and the track record are all on our side.  It just gnaws at you every day, doesn't it, Idiot?  Lying awake with cold sweats trying to justify the slop you're required to believe and your inability to reconcile your self-loathing with projection.

...and then, the voices start.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

I think my favorite Dem Meme has to be "Nixon's Southern Strategy turned all the Southern Democrats Republican."  I am thinking it was a water / wine type miracle, at least in  league with Loaves and Fish.   Democratics, these Goobers will swallow anything. Well that and the Black Lives Matter 'cept  in the Planned Parent Hood wing of the Party of Rape 'em and Scrape 'em, Wm. Clinton Esq. proprietor. :rotf: :lmao: :rotf:

  • Last of the great minorities
I don't know about hating the BGIC(black guy in charge).
What I do know about is hating all of his policies with perhaps 1 or 2 exceptions.
All the libs are being like Chrissy Mathews in that they incorrectly(probably dishonestly) attribute racism for any rejection of owebuma policies.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

The Stupid is Strong with these underachievers, isn't it?
They fear a R presidency, unless it's a few establishment losers, because then they'll be forced to actually work for a living instead of whine and throw temper tantrums until someone finds that government tit and sticks it back in their mouths.

A Trump presidency might find something else stuck somewhere else, if you get my drift DUmmies.  And since you're allergic to work  you're gonna have a long hard slog and the Bern will be in Congress collecting HIS bennies and laughing his ass off at all of you morons.
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.

Oh, gawd....  Whenever I see that, I want to scream.  It's only been debunked about 30 or 40 times.

While the 2nd paragraph of Wikipedia's article on the TEA Party claims it started shortly after BHO inauguration (in response to his policies, which Wikipedia admits), the History section of the Wikipedia article makes clear that the roots of the TEA Party movement date to 1984, and the term "Tea Party" or "TEA Party" dates to 2002. The focal issues for the nascent movement were taxes and the economy. So, unsurprisingly, the ForwardProgressives site's claim is shown to be false by a simple check of the history of the TEA Party. Equally unsurprising, DU folk uncritically lapped up ForwardProgressives' easily fact-checked and falsified claim, because confirmation bias.

The patheticthing about Progs of the sort that gravitate toward places like DU is that even if confronted with facts that demonstrate that the claim of TEA Party racist purpose to be utterly false - e.g. the history of the movement, e.g. the Google images Delmar linked - they will unhesitatingly continue to parrot the false claim.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.
