I just cannot muster any sympathy for criminals here.
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
...hmm I for one think that our entire prison system needs to be revamped. This is the first time that I have heard of problems with female prisons in Florida.
I agree, prisoners shouldn't have a cake walk or reside in luxury while incarcerated and granted some of them have committed some pretty brutal crimes; those inmates should be put in a separate facility from those who have committed less 'intense' crimes. There have been numerous reports in Florida of brutality against inmates that have ended in eventual deaths. Not only do inmates suffer brutality from other inmates but from their corrections officers. In Florida, several prisons within the past several years have been under investigation because things have gotten so out of control.

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.
