What is amazing to me regarding Sanders is, no one outside of the far loony left is on his bandwagon, and they've convinced themselves THEY are the majority opinion. When all you do is live in an echo chamber, the same voices are all you hear. It's easy to see why they think like that, but the amount of angst, despair and depression when he drops out is going to really be a sight to see.

They can tell themselves there are Republicans that are jumping on his bandwagon, but honestly, IF there are, they were never Republican in the first place. I simply can't see those who are for smaller government and lower taxes backing a guy who will triple the national debt to pay for his programs, while increasing taxes to the point of killing off what's left of the middle class.

Now, these DUmmies are convinced THEY won't have to pay additional taxes simply because THEY will be on the receiving end of all these new programs AND because they earn so little they don't have the money to contribute. Much like the DUmmies are finding out how much obamacare costs, and are shocked at increasing premiums and deductibles to the point they can no longer afford the affordable care act, they'll be shocked when THEY have to pony up to pay for all their free stuff, which will be expensive beyond imagination.

I remember having a conversation with fellow conservatives back before we had to pass it to see what was in it, and we knew this would happen. We knew there was no way you could provide insurance for an additional 30,000,000 people AND drop rates. The liberals who were in the discussion poo-poo'd us, saying since everyone had to enroll, there would be more than enough money. I remember us telling the liberals that people wouldn't sign up for care until they got sick, then stay on it long enough to get treatment, then drop out (and pay the smaller fine compared to monthly premiums). Again, we were poo-poo'd, but we knew we had won the argument when they started calling us racists (name calling is the last defense they had).

Well, old rumple hair is going to take them, and us, down the same road, if he wins, despite our warnings but the Bernbots aren't listening. The definition of an idiot is someone who does the same thing over and over expecting different results.

They are convinced he's going to win.
They are convinced it will finally be utopia because THEY know how to implement socialism the right way.
They are convinced it will be heaven on earth.

I'd like to see him do well enough in some of the early primaries to keep the hope alive. I wouldn't even object this going all the way to the Dem convention, though I doubt it will. The main interest is seeing how many primitives either get the boot or decide to leave. I can't imagine a mannygoldstein, willyt, sabrina, or cali primitive sticking around after all the nasty things they've said about her, but then again they're just stupid enough to do so.

It will be fun when the bern becomes a smoldering ruins this true. Another advantage of keeping the bernster and the big dumb O' in the race as long as possible will reduce the chance of DUmmies in late primary states registering as Republicans to vote for an establishment guy.

This is true. I for one am sick of Dems registering to vote in the R primary and picking our candidate for us. The longer Bern stays in, it forces the Dems to vote in their own.

You don't understand. Bernie will know how to implement socialism the right way so no one making under $x.xx (whatever that number is), will have to pay INTO the system, they only collect OUT of the system. Every experiment ever in socialism has failed. But we'll do it right this time.

These idiots don't even understand the taxes they pay now, much less adding a VAT.  The Value-added Tax is a perfect example of this. "We're not going to have to pay that".  It's on EVERYTHING you idiots.  Every product, every service .... EVERYTHING.  Even the toilet paper that will soon become an ever scarcer commodity.

Actually I have a pretty wide circle of friends, including some union stalwarts, academics, college students, teachers, etc., as well as military, legal professionals, and a bunch of VRWC guys and gals.  NONE of the lifelong Dems are big Hillary supporters, they all think she is more crooked than a snake that took three trips though a lawnmower (Not that they wouldn't pull the lever for her, if it came down to her or Trump).  For the most part they really are big Bernie supporters.  I can't help thinking he actually has a higher level of popular, committed support than the polls are reflecting,
