However, I think the Secret Service (that was the agency involved) needs to watch Skins's island a whole lot more than that.

I'd say any Secret Service agent worth his salt who is a little low on meeting his arrest quota need only row over to the island on any given day, and he'll catch his limit in five minutes.

All we need is a democratic president and 2 seats on the Supreme Court. Make the penalty for firearm possession mandatory time in prison and debilitating fines up to and including total asset forfeiture, people will line up to turn in their guns. In other words, possess a gun and lose both your freedom and your wealth.
Get rid of the guns and the police won't even need them. It's a win win for everyone and an important step in the evolution of American Society.

There is so much weapons grade stupidity in that statement, that I think I found where Saddam hid the WMD's. If we get rid of ALL our weapons, what's to keep the narco-terrorist illegal aliens to our south from exploiting our weakness? ESPECIALLY in our law enforcement at that point.

But its funny hearing some of the keyboard commandos saying that they'd be willing to join the military to do gun confiscation against their fellow citizens.  Proof that if you "scrarch a liberal, find a fascist" .

The confiscators fully ignore the 2nd and forget that repealing the 2nd would be necessary for their scenario to ever happen.

Not with the current POTUS.  IMHO he's getting ready to circumvent the 2nd and use some kind of executive order to clamp down on gun ownership.

I see it being something much more insidious, I see him confiscating ammo or making it impossible to get by his imperial missives. That is not technically violating the second amendment, and has a similar effect. If you can't get ammo, a gun is a pretty paperweight or doorstop.

They've already tried this with those massive ammo buys for the IRS DHS and IIRC the Social Security Administration.

Precisely why so many gun owners have substantial stockpiles of ammo, especially after the Great Drought.  Never practice yourself out of ammo, better to get a little rusty than disarmed.
