Stick a fork in me, I’m done.

stupid meme.

**** YOU, ASSHOLE REPUBLICANS, FOR ASSURING THAT WE DON’T HAVE ANY DECENT NATIONAL GUN CONTROL LAWS IN THIS COUNTRY, YOU COMPLETE MOUTH-BREATHING DEGENERATES!

What is wrong with the United States?! **** it if I know, but I’ll tell you this right now: no one’s Second Amendment right precedes my family’s right to live.

If you want to take that away from me, or any other United States citizen, truly — you can go screw yourselves. I don’t care. Your supposed “right” to keep and bear arms does not distinguish my 15-year-old daughter’s right to be a *******ed cheerleader at her school. I don’t care what you say, because it will never matter. The right to already-birthed life should eclipse anyone who wants to do harm to another living soul.

In short, the right to kill people should never supersede the right of any family to live and grow.

And to anyone who thinks differently? **** off. I don’t care to hear from you, ever.

26. "The right of the people "

Where else in the Bill of Rights does that not signify an individual right? The Bill of Rights are all individual rights- that is why it was added in the first place - to strictly limit government powers.

Funny for a government with limited powers, it sure does what it wants to anyway. But whatever, there are no words that say 'individual rights' in the 2A. Gun folks just want it to be that way and the NRA keeps it that way.

Didn`t believe me the first time did ya?

Yet they will all declare later that no one is advocating gun confiscation.  :whatever:

I am sure the others are the same so I will not bother pasting those.

The level of stupidity shown by DUmmie Rex is so bad it should be against the law.

ETA: I checked the others. The words 'individual rights' do not appear in any of them.

This episode was clearly due to:
 -The Second Amendment.
 -Global warming.
 -A YouTube video.
 -Joblessness.
 -School lunches.
 -Confederate flags.
 -Christmas.
 -Republicans.
 -Bush.
 -Capitalism.
 -Fox News.
 -Donald Trump.
 -Racism.
 -The Crusades

We must stop this from happening by:
-Taking guns away from law abiding citizens.
-Giving money to Nigeria and other third world countries.
 -Raising taxes.
 -Defeating Donald Trump.
 -Diversity training.
-Demand the resignation of college presidents who are not communist and/or people of color.
-Creating more leftist teaching positions in colleges and universities across the country.
 -Rioting.
-Stealing big screen TVs from Best Buy.
-Allowing Obama to have a third term.
 -Legalizing marijuana.

.
Because third world peasant labor is a good thing.

That the amendments were written the "militia" consisted of any able bodied male over a certain age, the requirement to be included was that you had to own a gun.
The phrase well regulated referred to training not to control by the government. You cannot have the word "people" mean something different in one amendment than ti does in another.

THANK YOU! And I assure you, if the Founders had wanted the word 'individual' in there somewhere...it would be there.

You just can`t be born with idiocy that deep,it takes a lifetime working on it.

Why don't the DUmmies suggest they do this in the liberal strongholds where guns are already illegal?  Go door to door and search the houses?  Or stop people on the street and see if that person is carrying.  Oh, that's right they tried it in New York with stop and frisk, and the DUmmies howled about the civil rights violations.

So how do they think the confiscation would work?

129. Yes and that is why we have a National Guard.

If the Founders wanted the word 'individual' in the 2A they would have put it in there. They were very good with wording. We have the 2A because the British came back in 1812 with a vengeance. That is recorded history.

Also like someone else said up thread, slave patrols and for many outposts as a posse comitatus. The key word is 'well-regulated', as stated first by the Founders that understood how stupid people can get.

Personally I don't care if target shooters or hunters have their firearms. My point is in modern times the 2A means the National Guard, which is there to protect us against the federal government. That is it's purpose. Call up citizen soldiers to quell federal tyranny.

You have your right to bear and keep firearms, join the National Guard. Or just be a hunter or sports enthusiast. Is that too hard? All this over your right to have a hobby or go hunting? Ridiculous, ludicrous, now the meaning is warped by groups like the NRA and preppers waiting in their fallout shelter.

The 1A promises us to be unconditional on our right to express ourselves in our own home in the case of self defense. The 2A has nothing to do with home defense. It did. I won't argue that.

Has any DU member reflected on the fact that mass shootings like this happen in places that have some of the most stringent ant-gun laws (calling them what they are!) in the nation? Or that so often they happen in "gun-free" zones (was the Colorado Springs PP building a gun-free zone?)?

There are two things you can never get around with liberal swine when it comes to the 2nd Amendment.  They think of the "people" in the same sense as all communist dictatorships.  The people and the state are interchangeable.  Also, they refuse to recognize that the term "well regulated",at the time, meant well equipped & trained.

Much easier to just shoot them.

You know, if aliens came down to earth and read this drivel:

Quote
If the Founders wanted the word 'individual' in the 2A they would have put it in there. They were very good with wording. We have the 2A because the British came back in 1812 with a vengeance. That is recorded history.
[/b]

They would think the 2A was written AFTER the war of 1812 because the British came back with a vengence.

Here is a hint you f'in DUmmie: It was written WELL BEFORE 1812 because the founders anticipated absolutely needing it against ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC.

Holy Jeebus, liberals disgust me.
Liberals disgust me. (Now I don't have to remember to put it on each post).

Because only the left goes searching for that which is not there in a desperate attempt to be offended about something.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Many people do not see evil until the gas is flowing into the chamber. That is why they get on the trains in the first place.
