Sure, I can look up the name and find out, but the question is rhetorical, anyway.

Let's back up a moment... I've been a voting/donating Democrat for 34 years. I've only been a activist Democrat since President Gore was ousted in a BFEE coup before he could even take his seat in the Oval Office. So, I admittedly was a loyal Democratic voter before that and I might, might, spend a few moments studying up on a handful of candidate. But whenever I bothered to do that, I really only knew enough to know that I was still voting for the Party of Sanity and the Party of The People.

But once they stole the 2000 election, I began paying a LOT more attention and learning what's been really going on. DU eventually became part of that awareness and part of that learning. I've been reading this website since late 2005. Daily reading it, as well as other liberal/Democratic websites. And in all that time, across all those millions of words, the thousands of posts and articles, I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a Liberal or Democrat mention George Soros. The ONLY time I ever seen/hear the name George Soros, it's coming from a right-wing nut. To them, he's our Lord and Savior, yet we NEVER, EVER even refer to him regarding...well... anything at all.

Why are those RWNJs so obsessed with this George Soros guy?

Soon to sink like Bob trying to tread water.

Soros is a man the left would call a monster if he wasn't on their side. He ruins economies of entire nations to fill his pockets, he is against coal until it is cheap enough to aquire. Frankly every nightmare the left has ever had about the wealthy and powerful is manifested in George Soros.

^Wow,I had heard murmurings of that, but I didn't know Soros was on record admitting to it.

Short answer? He is a Hungarian Jew who turned in his own people (other Hungarian Jews) to the Nazis during WWII. Latter in life, after getting off scot-free from that (by claiming his Jewish heritage) he made himself famous by nearly sinking the Pound Sterling in a shady For-Ex play.

There are many more examples of George Soros' malfeasance and general anti-human behavior, including funding the occupoop movement and funding anything anti-American. Just suffice it to say that if Soros is involved, there is absolutely no upside for Western Civilization.

In 2006 Soros was convicted in France of insider trading. His fine was nearly 1M Euros, so that was probably a felony conviction. Soros is a really upstanding salt-of-the-earth guy in the Prog-Alt-Universe.
