No One Should Be Sad When George H.W. Bush Dies (Probably Soon)

The curtain is about to fall on George Herbert Walker Bush, known colloquially as Bush 41, or simply 41. The patriarch is, if not exactly dying, no longer doing well enough to want to be seen much in public. The final taxi, as Wreckless Eric sang memorably though not famously, awaits.

Do not believe the soon-to-be-everywhere hype.

Dubya’s dad is and was a very bad man.

No one should forget that.

The old Skull and Bones man has skillfully set the stage for — not his rehabilitation exactly, for he was never shamed (though he much deserved it) — his rescue from the presidential footnotery familiar to schoolchildren, that of the Adamsian “oh yeah, there was also that Quincy” variety. The centerpiece of this so-far-going-splendidly historical legacy offensive is his authorized biography by Jon Meacham, “Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush,” a demi-hagiographic positioning of HW as a moderate last half of the 20th century Zelig.

Oh.

It's Ted Rall.

Nevermind.  Nobody will notice (much less care) when he disappears.

Wow! I thought Progs waited for a grave to have an occupant before crapping on it.

Seems like GHWB has lead a rather full, happy, productive, and long life. I hope POing Progs has been a part of all 4, and he continues to haunt their minds, rent-free, for a long time to come.

If Carter dies, it will be Bush's fault.
If anything does, or doesn't happen...it will be Bush's fault.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Then again, I won't give a **** when Carter or Clinton or Bush43 or Obama dies either. Maybe they'll all die on the same day, that way I can not give a **** all at once.

Let's set aside for the moment that the primitive who said this is one of the most vile and stupid on the whole island.

Since when has the highlighted NOT been the case with liberals during the holiday season? It's just that Skin's island does as good of a job as any at highlighting your boiling hatred of others on a day to day basis as anyplace I've found.

Now there is a name I haven't heard in a long while.  I thought Rall got aids and died.

And hears to you slowly choking to death in front of family and friends while eating that perfectly golden, crispy and flavorful turkey skin.   I for one would be very thankful if they stood and clapped while it was happening.

I'm hoping one of them whips out his smartphone and starts broadcasting the DUmmy's choking on Periscope for all the world to see.

Jimmy Carter is nearing his expiration date too. If liberals act up during the Bush funeral, I will gladly make vacation plans to piss on Jimmy's grave.

Very classy indeed. Although if Reragan would have gone with a conservative running mate instead of having to compromise with the Establishment GOP in selecting Bush as his running mate to fend off the third party run of GOP-defect John Anderson (and BOY was I angry at GHWB at the time when that happened!!), I would never dance on anyone's grave.

Jimmy Carter will die a happy man knowing he is no longer the worse president.
He will also know he was proclaimed the forth greatest president.
Proof of which, is shown below. (I posted this before .)
        WWWWW
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

He is so horrible he refused to support a child with cancer...oh wait

Although I don't always agree with him politically he is still a wonderful man. (But I admit the look on the little guy's face is priceless!)
