DUmmies............when the bill comes due, they will howl like jackals. If they put that much effort into reducing the cost of health care, perhaps it would be more affordable.
You will never hear any of them rail against the high liability cost of health care, they want to be able to sue over the slightest things. Take away the liability and costs would drop in a significant way. Obviously if a doctor saws off the wrong leg, he has to be liable. But doctors are so afraid of being liable they run unnecessary tests etc.
Drug companies have to charge 5 to 6 times the cost of a medication just to cover future liability. Right down to the people making medical instruments. The costs for liability are staggering.
Why can't we buy health insurance across state lines like other types of insurance? What about small business co-ops? Small companies joining together to get good group rates.
These things could go a long way to reducing costs without sacrificing quality...............DUmmies don't care, they just want it free.
